Chapter 99

Jacob Mackay

Jacob's eardrums were about to split from the pressure Grant applied to them. And the pressure wasn't even of physical force. He just kept talking non-stop as he sat beside him in the passenger side of the car while Jacob drove. Grant was livid with anger and Jacob couldn't care less about why he was on the receiving end. He had his own anger issues to deal with.

"Can you even hear me?" Grant asked angrily. Jacob had been ignoring him for the past two minutes they had been on the road. Grant must have become fed up with his silence. He banged his fist on the dashboard and that caught Jacob's attention. He glanced at him from his peripheral vision and sighed. He just had to have the worst luck today. He was stuck with Grant.
