Jameson Mackay
He shook hands with the man standing in front of him. It wouldn't get old. This was his son. His heir. The only reason for his existence. Not even Mayce came close to the position this man held in his heart. Even though he had been absent for most of Judah's existence, it didn't cut the emotions that slammed through him at sight of the young man.
"Welcome home, son." His eyes crinkled with joy as he smiled. Saying this wouldn't get old. The resemblance between them was uncanny.
He couldn't help but compare Jacob to the man standing before him. Except for Jacob's eyes and smile, which he had inherited from his mother, every other feature was different. Judah looked more like him than Jacob ever did. He had his rare black eye colour. Jameson smiled at that thought.
"It's good to be home," Judah said, smiling back at Jameson as they shared a hug.
