When she read about him and his ideas, she always assumed it was all a joke. Like most men around her, she believed she could defy those boundaries. She thought men could not resist her. She was fucking wrong, though. He disproves her completely.
She hadn't gone to his office solely to confront him and voluntarily offer him the contract. It was her father's fault. If it falls to her, Patrick won't ever get that contract. However, her father compelled her to do so.
He wanted Patrick to have the contract; he had previously told her over the phone. He selected Patrick from among all the contractors. He loves his proposal and his work.
She was merely threatening him in order to get what she wanted. However, things didn't turn out well for her. She needs to reconsider, unless the loss is greater than that.
That was the true motivation behind her signing the agreement and returning to Patrick.
