The Makeover
The assistant manager answered Ohani's question disrespectfully. "Yes, ma'am! Mrs. Hanada seems to have important things to do today and called for the boss to attend to her. It seems that you are close to her, why not go over to her home. Once our boss finished taking care of her, he could then take care of you as well." The assistant manager was hoping that Ohani will leave after he told her.
However, he was surprised at Ohani's response. "Actually, Grandma Hanada's mansion is so far away, and I don't have much time to go there if I still have to wait anyway. So it's okay for me to wait for you instead since I'm already here anyway." She then turns around and heads straight to the lounge to hang out.
"Her relationship with the Chairwoman was probably not that close. After all, why didn't she go there? The boss would have been able to take care of her for sure?" The receptionist whispered, to make sure that Ohani couldn't hear it.
