Her captivating smile, her warm laughter, and her enchanting eyes occupied his thoughts. He was so deeply lost in his reverie as he continued looking at Anne with a smitten expression on his features that he hardly noticed Coco and Belle standing with Anne. An amused expression on their faces as they glanced at each other in mischief.
Richmond was shaken from his daydream by a cheerful voice, "Mr. Richmond, good afternoon!"
He turned abruptly to find Coco and Belle, Anne's closest friends, standing beside him, sporting playful smiles that hinted at mischief. Richmond's heart raced, and he could feel a blush creeping up his cheeks. "Oh, Hello, people I have never met before." he stammered, scratching the back of his neck, "good afternoon."
Coco and Belle exchanged knowing glances, their smiles growing wider, as they observed Richmond's awkwardness with amusement.
