CHAPTER ONE HUNDRED AND SEVENTEEN

CHAPTER ONE HUNDRED AND SEVENTEEN

AUTHOR'S POV

Mary wandered on the street like a homeless chicken. Her resolve to go grocery shopping had been discarded as she had forgotten her wallet at home, safely sitting inside her favorite bag.

Due to her phobia of blackmailers, she had not even considered returning to the house to get it as she was sure to melt like a candle if she caught the sight of Dera.

So helplessly and homelessly she wondered, moving back and forth in the almost deserted street.

Feeling very tired of wandering, she decided to stalk her way to Liberty Park. A park that wasn't as grand and noisy as an amusement park, and only had a few play facilities and more stony seats.

It was just half a mile away and she could easily trek there without breaking a sweat. And even if she did break a sweat, it would've been worth it.
