As Alexis and Yvonne stepped through the towering glass doors, the building was very big. Yvonne never truly appreciated the building whenever she entered, maybe because she was already in luxury, so things like this didn't matter to her.
The air hummed with the sound of bustling activity as people hurried to and fro. Though Alexis knew Javier, she had never entered the building.
"Do you know what floor Javier's company is on?" Alexis asked, her gaze sweeping across the expansive lobby.
"It should be on the third floor, unless it was changed," Yvonne replied, her voice echoing softly in the vast space.
"Okay." Alexis nodded, her eyes darting towards the elevator.
As they made their way across the lobby, they passed by the sleek reception desk where a poised secretary sat, her fingers dancing across the keyboard of her computer. Catching sight of them, she looked up and offered a polite smile.
