Chapter 148

After she paid for the coffee, Yvonne left the cafe, her mind buzzing with questions. Javier watches her retreating figure as she turns around to see him looking at her. Yvonne rolled her eyes, and Javier let out a smile. 

Once she was out of sight, he picked up the document she gave him and pulled out his phone as he dialed a number. 

Meanwhile, Yvonne was walking through the streets as her phone rang. She took her phone out of her small bag and glanced at the screen. It was Logan. 

She ignored the call and continued walking. As her phone continued to ring, she turned off her phone. 

She was thinking of just enrolling her daughter in that school today instead of going home now. But come to think of it, she has forgotten the name of the school. 

She remembered Javier sending her the school's name. She really is not about to scroll all the way up to the message. 

She pulled out her phone, turned it on, and called Javier.
