The between lives

I opened my locker to get my physics textbook ,then I spotted a letter lying on my textbooks it ,I picked it up and saw it was from Liam .I stared at the letter for a while before opening it.

"Why the fuck are you still looking for your textbook "Megan said as she looked into my locker.

"Owwww,another admirer she saw as she took the letter from me and read it aloud".

"Hi Aria, it's liam I just wrote this letter because I couldn't talk to you face to face. Prom is at the corner and I noticed no one has proposed to you publicly yet,so I want to ask you to be my prom date..."

Megan read the letter so loud people passing could hear ,I quickly snatched the letter from her and put it back in my locker.

I noticed liam who was hiding in the corner of the hall walk away.

I wanted to follow him but Megan held my hand.

"Look i heard from a friend of a friend that Noah is going to ask you out to be his prom date so don't ruin it with a nobody like liam.

I listened to her it was true. I have had a crush on Noah for the longest of time and him seeing me with Liam might ruin my chances.

"Quit overthinking the obvious and get you damn textbook, we're running late!!" She yelled tapping her watch .

I grabbed my books and followed her at the middle of the hallway Noah and his friends suddenly came out of the bathroom. I held my breath out nervousness, as he passed me his scent filled my head, i just had to look back and to my surprise he did too winked at he before walking off.

"You see you wanna ruin your chances of a hot relationship with Noah for a nerd Liam, I mean I would smash Noah anyday if you aren't interested"Megan said.

" whatever"I said and rolled my eyes.
