Days went by peacefully and their examinations were fast approaching.

This time, Jemmy spent most of her time studying.

Though she was an A+ student still she knew she had to study hard to keep up with her grades.

After all, it's quite easy to fall from the top.

Jemmy was studying in her room one night when a knock was heard at the door which was followed by the door opening slowly to reveal Adam who had a glass of milk in his right hand.

She didn't even notice his presence till he got to her table and tapped his hands gently on the table, then Jemmy finally looked up and was indeed very surprised to see him, " Dad you are here? " She stared at him in shock.

" Why? Can't I come to visit my daughter? "

" No it's not that, I am just surprised to see you. "

" It's very obvious from your Expression. " He said.

" Um.. "

" Here, drink up this milk it'll make you feel more refreshed. " He said handing over the glass of milk to her.
