Chapter 2 Hogwart's Express

Aphrodite

I stared at the girl for a few seconds when I was finally the first to recover from the shock of the wall and took her hand.

"Hello Hermione, I'm Aphrodite. " I replied smiling at her and she returned the smile.

Then we both looked at Irene who was looking at her things in surprise. She was still checking to see if we had indeed gone over the entire wall.

I nudged her gently and then she turned and looked at us curiously. Then she looked once at me and then at Hermione who now held out her hand towards her. Irene made a face that I couldn't make out what she meant and grabbed the girl's hand with force.

"It was nice to meet you. Irene" she said as their gazes shot thunderbolts.

I couldn't understand why but I was sure these two would get along perfectly.

"Sorry if we kept you waiting, we're just a bit new and I find it strange that we didn't get killed on the wall" She continued laughing and I sighed as I looked at her.

"Shut up you're embarrassing us" I said to her in Greek and she smiled grimly.

"No, it's all right. You can't see she's laughing. " She also replied in Greek and I rolled my eyes ironically.

"Girls, what a strange language you speak, I can imagine you're not from here are you?" said a boy about our age with red hair and freckles as he chewed on something like a marshmallow.

Now it was Hermione's turn to poke him.

"Yes we are from Greece. " I replied with a smile and Hermione seemed to get excited.

"Really? So you know about history and mythology right? " she said and I smiled with difficulty.

"Yeah yeah, but Irene read more of that stuff so..." I replied.

"My name is Molly, and these are my children. The twins Fred and George, Ron and my little girl Jinnie. Finally though they are not my children I feel them though, Harry and Hermione. By the way you four are in the same year. And you, honey, are with Jinnie. " said Mrs Molly as soon as she heard us introduce ourselves and at the end she spoke to Irene and we smiled.

"Anyway, wherever you are from, I can see that you are very good girls. " she continued as she started to tuck in the shirt that Ron was wearing.

At that moment the train, which we hadn't noticed was there, gave a loud clamp and Mrs. Moly started to push us towards its door.

"Go on. It's time to get in. Have a safe journey and I hope you have a wonderful first day. " The woman told us and we waved and started walking towards the train.

In front of us was Hermione, while a little further behind her was Harry and Ron, who were talking about something I couldn't understand.

We had gotten on the train and were looking for an empty compartment. However, most of them were privately occupied.

"Since when do these guys get here and they've taken almost all the cabins? Since 3 o'clock? " Irene commented whispering to me and I chuckled a laugh that went off.

" Go on, run Ron, we're going to catch some empty cabins " said Hermione as she pushed Ron who was bumping into other kids walking in the opposite direction , while we although we were jumping note by note started laughing at the expressions he was making.

Even though we were a bit cornered, I was beginning to be immensely amused by the whole situation. Me, Harry and Irene were laughing at Ron and Hermione was getting mad at him and at us for not helping her. When we finally got inside a small wagon with leather seats I let go of the breath I had been holding for so long and looked around the place.

Even though it was small it fit all of us and the good thing was that it had shelves for the suitcases above our "heads". Finally one side of the cabin had a huge window that stretched across the entire carriage from side to side.

At that moment Ron grabbed Hermione's suitcase and put it on top, then Irene's and finally his own first turning to me but our attention was caught by Irene and Hermione who quickly sat on either side of the window saying at the same time " I'm catching the window. " Ron sighed and looked at her in annoyance.

"A thank you would suffice" Ron said and sat down next to Hermione, turning his back while she ruffled his red hair.

Harry settled the two of them and took his turn in the seat next to his friends.

"Thank you. " Irene and I said at the same time and smiled cheerfully.

" You're welcome. " said Harry smiling at us.

"Five dollars. " Ron did and immediately Irene let out a giggle.

Hermione sighed in frustration at Ron's supposed joke while the rest of us laughed at their expressions. For a moment there was silence in the small space when out of nowhere a whimper sounded loudly before Arco's blonde head popped out of Irene's bag and let out another broken barking sound.

The puppy looked at us half asleep and yawned loudly making us laugh before it completely came out of the bag and sat half on Irene and half in the space between her and me. We watched him berate us for leaving him in the bag while the kids laughed at his behavior.

"Are you grumbling again? " I said patting his head while laughing.

He wagged his tail first licking his muzzle and yawning. At that moment another furry creature appeared first to sit on Hermione's lap and stare at us with his big eyes. It was a very hairy cinnamon cat with a very fierce musk and seemed to be weighing us down with its eyes. At the same time Irene prepared to hold Arko but Hermione's cat had other plans , she jumped on our seat and hesitantly approached the puppy who could no longer contain his excitement , we all held our breath and waited to see how the two animals would react.

The puppy got down on the floor and started to grab the cat who also seemed to be amused . Irene let out a breath of relief as they began to play making funny sounds.

"This is the first time I've seen the cat without fighting. It's usually a hag. " Hermione said in disbelief.
