The truth (part three)

Landon woke up in the morning feeling happy. He sat up on the bed, he felt like he was dancing in the flower fields with the wind in his hair. He was alone in the room and Arian was gone.

The door to the balcony was open and so were the windows. The whole room was painted ice blue. Unlike the way it was when he fell asleep. He didn't dislike it though, he loved it.

He stood from the bed and stretched his body. His heart was at peace, the morning started off and he wasn't even yearning for people's blood.

It was weird to feel like he was floating in the clouds without any worries. No fear of how bad the day was going to turn out.

"I used to think that losing the one you love was the hardest thing ever," he heard from the balcony. "But now I realised that the saddest thing is losing yourself for the one you love."
