The attack
Zadran broke the chains after sneaking into the palace prison. He freed Landon's hands and legs, together they got out of the prisons.
"The child's room is in the same floor as the king," Zadran informed handing him a blue crystal. "You know how to use it right?"
Landon nodded. He hated that he used the king's feelings for him to get into the palace but it was needed for him to get his son back. Zadran had given him hope that he could change his child's gene back to original but it could only be done once.
He had one chance to get his son back and take him along. He wanted to complete the little family that he had left and hopefully one day, he could get the king to love him and forgive him.
He hurriedly sneaked around the corridors to climb to the room where the child was. He had caught a glimpse of Mal before the king took him away from the family room.
