Celestial trial (part one)
Landon could hear screams in his head. He opened his eyes into nothing but darkness. The last thing he remembered was the weird thing that happened with the king.
It was weird what happened. One minute he was expressing his feelings for the king and his insecurities and the next the king was bleeding. He soon followed.
He got up from the floor, the whole place was filled with darkness with no single light. He couldn't see a single thing in the room.
"Did I transmigrate again?" he asked out loud. "I should find my way out of here. You are Landon Farley, you can do this," he encouraged himself.
He took a step forward to find the way out of there. Everywhere he moved was dark and the longer he walked the longer the darkness seemed to stretch. It was unbearable.
Even after hours of walking he couldn't help but think that he was walking to nowhere.
