Scary Uncle is a Good Choice!

Feng Xiao Qing looked at the way she hugged Lu Yi Feng's arm and felt embarrassed. She didn't realize that because of her nervousness before, her hug was getting tighter and almost left no space between them. She awkwardly released Lu Yi Feng's arm and shyly looked down. She mumbled in a small voice, "I'm sorry. I was too anxious before."

Lu Yi Feng wondered if he had to get used to being close to her. He sighed but didn't bother to answer her. He only made hmmm sound, telling her that he understood.

"Boss... I will handle it. I will leave Xiao Xi Xi here, okay?" Lin San reminded Lu Yi Feng that he wasn't going to bring Xiao Xi Xi along with him. Lu Yi Feng nodded, acknowledging Lin San's request.

"There are me and Feng Xiao Qing here, so you don't have to worry," Lu Yi Feng answered. Feng Xiao Qing could feel her burning cheeks and know that she was actually blushing because of what Lu Yi Feng had said. She already got used to taking care of Xiao Xi Xi all alone, when she heard Lu Yi Feng said that he was there for them too, she felt slightly touched. She shook her head, trying to clear up her mind. After all, this was because of the contract.

This wasn't real.

Feng Xiao Qing took her mind away from the depressing thought and decided to ask Xiao Xi Xi, "Have you already eaten?"

"Yes, Pervert Uncle already took me to eat lunch together with him."

Feng Xiao Qing, "..."

It seemed like she had to correct the way Xiao Xi Xi called Lin San. It wasn't polite and would smear Lin San's name to every person who heard that nickname. "Xi Xi, don't call Uncle Lin San that way. He's not a pervert! You only misunderstood him." Feng Xiao Qing explained softly.

After interacting with Uncle Lin San, Xiao Xi Xi knew that Uncle is a good guy. Xiao Xi Xi nodded in agreement. "Okay, Mommy."

"Good!" Feng Xiao Qing praised Xiao Xi Xi with twinkling eyes and patted her head. Then, she remembered that she hadn't told Xiao Xi Xi about the recent development.

"Xi Xi, from now on, we will live with Uncle Yi Feng. Is that okay with you?" Although they didn't have another choice but to stay at Lu Yi Feng's house, Feng Xiao Qing still wanted to listen to Xiao Xi Xi's opinion.

"I heard your conversation just now. Living with the scary uncle? Hmmm... as long as Mommy is happy, I'm fine with it." Xiao Xi Xi knew how hard Mommy was working for her sake, the nanny told her about it just to let her appreciate her mommy more. If there was someone strong to protect her, Xi Xi would already be happy enough. Scary uncle was a good choice, after all, with his face... he would be able to scare a lot of bad people.

"Thank you, Baby." Feng Xiao Qing was touched by what Xiao Xi Xi said. Her little girl was always quite mature for her age, probably because of their circumstances and it forced her to grow up earlier. Sometimes she felt guilty about it, but she was also helpless. Hopefully, their life would be better after she started working here.

The three men who watched their interaction were in awe because of Xiao Xi Xi's maturity, but it certainly made their arrangement easier. Lin San left to do his job after he asked for a few hours to settle the living arrangement. Lu Yi Feng let the mother-daughter pair to stay in his office. He had just chosen Feng Xiao Qing from the audition and it wouldn't be wise for him to flaunt their relationship right away. He was afraid that it would affect Feng Xiao Qing's image before she debuted. He had to plan this carefully --- how to let people smoothly find out about their relationship to remove the gay tag on him and don't let people misjudge Feng Xiao Qing that she was debuting due to her relationship with him.

Lu Yi Feng loosened his tie, contemplating his next move. He sent a message to Doctor Tang and fortunately, the doctor was available for now. He paid a hefty amount to have a special privilege and was able to get a session anytime he wanted.

"Zi Hao, do you have any schedule after this?"

"No. Why?"

"Can you stay with them for one hour? I need to meet the surname Tang." Lu Yi Feng didn't want Feng Xiao Qing to know that he was going to meet a psychiatrist, so he only said the surname and Zi Hao seemed to understand.

"Okay!"

After knowing that Zi Hao was willing, Lu Yi Feng talked to Feng Xiao Qing before he went out. "Stay here with Zi Hao. I have an important meeting to attend to. I will be back soon."

Looking at Lu Yi Feng's fading back, Feng Xiao Qing suddenly felt like she was a wife who would wait for her husband to come home.
