Chapter 21 Wrappings

Luca's POV

"So you're not really the typical bad boy?" Mr. Adams, Jane's father, asked for the nth time.

It's been two weeks since the incident that happened at our house and Jane and I decided that I met her parents.

My father was sentenced to twenty years in jail. Not only because of child abuse but turns out that he smuggled money from shareholders and banks. My so-called father was in possession of an illegal weapon and the police found a stash of cocaine after searching his office and bedroom. My mother, however, was able to escape the police and we are still searching for her, though I doubt she would be charged with much though.

The Hardings fled the country from the shame and we never heard from them since.

I, on the other hand, took my father's place in the company and became the world's youngest CEO. I was still under training of course and luckily, Jane's aunt, Mrs. Freeman volunteered to teach me all that I needed.
