The Battle Of The Demon Siblings

In the ever-unfolding tapestry of life, circumstances occasionally dictate that conflicts arise, even among those bound by the bonds of kinship. In this crucible of adversity, the question looms large: will any among them choose to unite and confront their collective challenges, or will they opt to face their trials individually? Each of these siblings finds themselves confronted with their own arduous battle, each imbued with a distinct purpose. For some, the impetus lies in their eternal quest for change, an undying ambition that propels them forward. Others are driven by an insatiable hunger for power, seeking dominance over their chosen realm. And yet, there are those whose battles are fought for the sake of love; their motivations rooted in the profound connections that define our human existence. As these siblings navigate their respective journeys, their paths intertwine and diverge in equal measure. Some seek to discover their true nature, to uncover the depths of their being. Others strive to prove their mettle, to demonstrate their worthiness in the face of adversity. From these differing perspectives, the potential for unity or division emerges; a choice that can bind them closer than ever or sow the seeds of animosity. Will their battles drive them to turn completely against one another? Time alone will reveal the path they choose on this journey of self-discovery and affirmation.

* Oh, Don't Be So Vishious

When Vishious left his room after talking to Sinyster, he went to his domain to see how things were going. When he arrived he had a couple of his Generals welcome him at the entrance.

"Greetings, Master!" They said as they not only bowed their heads but also kneeled down on one knee before him.

"Rise!" Vishious said as he hand motioned for them to rise as he walked past them. "Creeper, Dire, What's the news on our little Mermaid?"

"She is still sleeping, Master!" said Dire at once.

"We made sure that no one bothered her, Master. Just as you told us." Creeper followed.

"Very good, you two have once again done well. I'm going to go and wake our little guest, I need to make sure that she eats before I leave again." Vishious said, A wicked smile was painted on his lips as he walked inside his Palace. Dire and Creeper following a few steps behind him.

Meanwhile, back in the Palace of Damns Hollow, Sinyster was asleep but she was stuck in the same nightmare that she had every night and couldn't escape from.

'Sinyster, help me! Please Help me!' A girl screamed. She was beautiful, with bright neon green hair and breath- taking Emerald green eyes that were enchanting. She was trapped in a cage of Black Magic, of shadows. The girl was crying and trying to reach for Sinyster but everytime Sinyster would almost reach her hand the cage would move backwards, always staying out of her reach. She was running as fast as she could but she couldn't get ahold of the girls outstretched hand. 'Please Sinyster, don't leave me?' The girl in the cage screamed.

' I'll never leave you, I promise!' Sinyster yelled at the girl, tears streaming down her face as she kept trying to grab the girls hand.

She woke up, almost jumping out of the bed. Beads of sweat covered her face and she was crying uncontrollably. It took her awhile to finally calm down and pull herself together. ' Please stay strong and know that I'll be back soon. That I haven't left you.' Sinyster said to the girl in her mind.

Sinyster gritted her teeth and clenched her fists in fury. Her eyes were now full of determination.

*************************

Malice stood on the balcony of his room and from there he could see the balcony that belonged to both the guests rooms, to her room. He noticed how the clouds started to come in and turn dark, like suddenly it would start to rain unexpectedly.

'I wonder if I would scare her if I would land on her balcony? would she even come out to talk to me or just tell me to go away?' Malice wondered. Her room was five rooms down from Vishious. 'What would Vishious think if he returned at the time I decided to fly to her balcony and saw me? Would it make things bad for her?' Malice was debating on whether or not he should try and talk to Sinyster tonight.

He didn't know why but finding out she was Slayer's sister, made him feel like a fool and it made him mad. But on the other hand he wanted to get some answers about why she was here with Vishious.

He was looking at her room that was dark when suddenly he saw her light come on. It was starting to become evening, and dinner would be ready soon. It took him a minute before he realized that he was landing on her balcony and he suddenly became nervous, but he wasn't sure if it was the thought that she might ask him to leave or that he would possibly get to see her, that was the cause of him being nervous.

He stood there for a couple minutes debating on what he wanted to do, when he decided that he just better leave and not risk causing any problems, the balcony door started to open.

Malice held his breathe, nervous of her thinking he was a creep or something for being on her balcony. What would he say his reasoning was for being on her balcony? She no sooner opened the door when she made eye contact with him and the look of utter shock came to her face.

" Please don't be mad or hide." Malice said to her quickly. "I know that me showing up on your balcony like this is inappropriate, especially showing up uninvited and it isn't keeping our agreement to meet up tomorrow but I just wanted to maybe talk to you?" He didn't know what he was really wanting or expecting either.

He flew over here without really thinking about what it was he was doing. But then something caught his eye, he could tell when he got a better look at her that her eyes were glistening and it was obvious that she had been crying. "What's wrong?" He asked her quickly, sounding more demanding than he meant to.

She surprised him when suddenly she rushed out and grabbed his hand pulling him inside her room. When she got him inside she closed the door quickly behind them and locked the door before turning and looking up at him. "You shouldn't be here, what if Vishious or someone saw you flying to my balcony?" She said in a hurried way that clearly showed how anxious she was feeling.

"No body saw me, I was careful." Malice answered. Which wasn't completely true because he didn't even know he was going to do this, until he was landing. "Why were you crying? Did something happen?" He quickly asked.

Sinyster glared at him, "Look, don't try and change the subject and don't come at me like I'm some kind of weak woman who needs you to worry about her!" She said coldly.

"I'm sorry I didn't mean to come here to upset you or to start a argument, I honestly don't know what I was expecting or thinking when I showed up on your balcony, I just wanted to see you." Was Malice's honest answer.

He didn't understand why it bothered him to see that she was crying or why he even cared, but he did. He couldn't explain it but he felt protective towards her. "Look, I understand that we just met and you don't know me but you can trust me?"

Malice didn't know why he was trying so hard to convince her. "Why were you crying?" He asked sternly. He was starting to get annoyed at this whole situation.

Sinyster just stood there glaring up at him and this made Malice extremely mad, " Suit yourself, I'm sorry I even came here and you don't have to worry about meeting me tomorrow!" Malice said coldly and started to walk past her.

He wasn't one to give a thought about how anyone was feeling or care, so her not wanting to answer him and just glare at him, he was over trying to be nice.

Sinyster couldn't believe that he was going to just leave. 'Is he really going to walk out? and doesn't even want to meet up with me tomorrow?'

She turned and grabbed his arm, "What are you doing?" She asked innocently.

"I'm leaving!" Was the quick response from Malice, as he looked down at her, with narrowed eyes.

"Please don't!" Sinyster said in a pleading voice, her eyes starting to tear up again. Suddenly the sound of rain started pouring down and you could hear the thunder in the clouds.

Malice looked outside the balcony glass door before he looked back at Sinyster to see her still holding his arm and she was now crying. "What's wrong? If you're not going to answer me than don't keep wasting my time!" Malice said coldly to her.

"I'm sorry, I don't know why the thought of you leaving upset me and I was already upset before you came, I'm not used to being treated nicely and so I'm leery of it." Sinyster said a little frustrated that she was crying in front of the Kamaira. " I decided to take a nap which was a mistake because everytime I fall asleep I'm in the same nightmare and I'm stuck with the same suffocating heartache when I wake up." Sinyster finally let go of Malice's arm and didn't know why she had just shared that personal information with someone she just met, she got even more frustrated that she couldn't hold back the tears.

Malice filled the gap that was between them and put his arms around her. This not only shocked her but himself as well. He really didn't know what was going on when it came to her. "If you'll just tell me what's going on, I can help you?" Malice asked.

He let her cry until he could feel that her sobs turned to small hiccups, her face still buried in his chest.

She couldn't explain it but she had never felt this feeling of safety, like being held by this Kamaira brought to her and she just wanted to feel this for a little bit longer.

Outside the rain slowly came to a stop and the clouds started to disperse letting the sun peak through.

*************************

Slayer had been pacing in his study for the last few hours trying to wrap his head around what he had just learned from Malice.

Slayer knew that it had been many years now, since he had last seen Sinyster and the last time they saw each other, it ended with them not seeing or talking with each other for all these years. He still cared for his sister, he just stayed away mostly convincing himself it was because he had been busy.

Sinyster was the only one who couldn't control her Power Creature that they each had and could shape shift into. Hers was a Merwitch and instead of choosing when to change, it was like a curse that would take over her body when she would be at risk of being killed or in grave danger. She was very powerful, but she was very evil and cruel as well; the complete opposite of her normal self.

Sinyster was the only Demon who was kindhearted and who loved life, everything that was living she treasured. That's why Slayer believed it was the reason why her Power Creature couldn't be controlled by Sinyster; because they weren't made to be kindhearted and against killing. While the Brothers all wanted to prove and show how powerful and how feared they were; Sinyster just wanted to prove herself to be excepted and be loved by her brothers. But being kind and loving wasn't what the brothers found to be of any use or acceptable because it was weakness to them.

Slayer was the only brother who had stayed by Sinyster's side and excepted her for how she was but the last time he had went to Sinyster to help her with something he had assumed it was to fight someone who was trying to harm her or cause her problems but the problem wasn't another party, the problem was her; herself.

Slayer could still hear Sinyster saying to him as she sat on the ground and cried, begging him not to leave and help her. "Oh Don't be so Vishious! You're treating me just like him, brother!"
