Felix had safely arrived at the Capital and was swiftly taken to the Slayer Academy. The academy was located in the middle of the desert, a remote and isolated place. As they were moving, a Slayer accompanying him and the others quickly began to explain their institution.

"Here you will learn how to properly move your body in the heat of battle and also how to properly use firearms. Although, I must warn you, this Academy might literally end your lives rookies."

As the Slayer finished talking, the vessel arrived at the academy. The doors opened, and Felix, along with three others, left the vessel. The vessel quickly took off, and they found themselves in front of a heavily guarded and protected fence that served as the entrance to the institution. Suddenly, a voice sounded from one of the nearby speakers, and the gate slowly opened.

"Welcome, new recruits! This place will either be your grave or your beginning. First, head on inside where you will be assigned classes based on your aptitude assessments."

While the other recruits already understood what they were doing, Felix was left clueless. However, he remembered that he still needed to check out this supposed War God System. As the other recruits headed inside, Felix quickly followed. As they entered the compound, an older man quickly found them. He had gray hair that ran to his back and a large patchy gray beard. However, his amber eyes still glowed with a youthful aura.

"Haha, welcome new recruits. Before we begin, it seems one of you has not taken the assessments. In consideration of this, I will administer that assessment. So, if, uh, Felix could come with me."

As Felix slowly made his way to the old man, he could hear him murmur under his breath, "No last name? How odd."

Felix was taken into a single-room cubicle where the assessment would be taken. However, before that, they gave him an hour to organize his thoughts. During that time, he began to play around with his supposed system. Very quickly, he began to speak in his own mind, trying to communicate with it.

"Hello? War God System?"

[ Yes, Host? ]

Slightly taken aback by the large golden panel in front of him, he quickly responded, "What are you?"

[ I am a system that will help you grow stronger. You don't need to know anything, at least not at this time. ]

"Alright, I guess. Then? What can you do?"

[ At the moment, your soul is only able to hold a single card. Would you like to draw a card? ]

"Cards? Well, I might as well if that's the only thing you can do."

[…]

[ I have more functions; they are simply unavailable at the moment. However, very well, I shall complete your request and draw your card. ]

The golden panel in front of him became empty, then a card suddenly appeared in front of it. The card was divided into sixths: the middle had a blank face that gave chills to anyone who saw it, while small little radio waves were slightly above its head. The top left was a large ear, the top right was a nose. The bottom left was a large eye, the bottom right was a small hand. Then, just below the middle was a large tongue.

The card suddenly shrank, and various texts appeared beside it explaining it.

[ Supernatural Senses Rank: Lapis Type: Passive This card gives its user a supernatural sensitivity towards their senses. Moreover, it gives the user a supernatural sixth sense, making it possible to sense certain future events or dangers. ]

Felix was confused with the card and asked the system, "So? It says it heightens my senses. However—"

Yet, before he could even finish, the world around him seemed to change. His pupils dilated to extreme levels, and his vision improved so dramatically that he could see things that were hidden from the human eye normally. His sense of smell became so sensitive he could smell the exact ingredients that were used to clean the room. His sense of touch became so extreme he could feel the direction and twisting of the slight wind, a movement he couldn't even notice before. His taste didn't have anything to test its improvement on yet. However, he could even hear the murmurs that were happening behind the walls of the room.

Wait, murmurs behind the room?

Just before he could even react, he could see in slow motion the walls around him breaking down and men rushing in to capture him. However, just when he thought it was over for him, he noticed the room was still intact. He smiled softly and thought to himself, "So this is a sensitive sixth sense?"

Very quickly, he moved to the door, suddenly pushed through it, and ran down the hallway. The people who were conducting the exam were stunned and unable to react for a few seconds; however, they quickly calmed themselves down and yelled, "Capture him!"

The men quickly ran down the hallway, with even more joining the chase. However, were supernatural senses that weak? With every footstep clearly entering his ears and his sixth sense telling him where the danger lurked, he easily avoided them for over an hour. However, although his senses were excellent, his body was quite weak, and he quickly ran out of stamina.

Felix was now backed into a corner by three people when a sudden clap made them stand down. His tired eyes looked over to where the clap came from and found that old man again.

"Excellently done, Felix. I must say, you are quite the diamond in the rough. To have such an extreme sixth sense at your age, and it even seems your other senses don't lag behind. It makes me wonder, what will you become when your body can keep up? Well, that time won't come anytime soon. Although, before you pass out, I would like to say one thing. Congratulations on being admitted to the Slayer Academy."

Felix could clearly hear what he had said, although his body was too fatigued to respond. Quickly, his vision began to darken, and he fainted once again.
