Inside her mind's eye, she could see the woman's Polar Bear. She felt her fear and her heartbreak as if it was her own and the pain made her gasp.

Tears welled in Maya's eyes, but she ignored them. This was about Eva now. She sent signals through to the sad beast. A positive message that she was safe now, secure, and that she had friends in Maya and Nita.

"Wow," Eva whispered and opened her eyes to stare in wonder at her employer.

"Isn't she great!" Nita grinned, "That reminds me, I have to go. Gotta go see my doctor," she groaned as she bent to retrieve her bag from the floor.

"I thought you liked your doctor?" Maya asked.
