"Hey baby boy," mom smiled down at me while brushing my hair through her soft fingers, "it's been a long time."

"Mom?" I closed my eyes and opened them again to see her smiling face.

"I'm here honey," she assured me as she bent down to kiss my forehead.

"I miss you so much." The tears came streaming down my face as mom smiled sadly at me.

"I miss you too," she said, "so much," She admitted, "but someone will miss you way more than I do."

"No, mom-"

The salted tears dropped on my face when I opened my eyes in anger. I was met with the most mesmerizing emerald eyes I had ever seen. They were red-rimmed and so tired that I had to reach my fingers under her eyelids to wipe away the tears.

"Why did you wake me up?" I snapped, she just remained silent as her fingers wiped her tears on my face.

"I missed you." She blushed as she blurted out with frizzy baby hairs on top of her head, I realized that she straddled me so her face could closely meet mine. I kind of liked that.

"Someone will miss you way more than I do."

She was talking about Evangeline. She heard me back when I started to the mirror and begged her. She brought me back to life when I didn't want to.

"I wanted to stay," I yelled at her as she whimpered and got off of me, the nurses came in and I kept yelling at Evangeline, the heartbroken look on her face made me even more angry at myself. My death could have been peaceful, why the fuck did she wake up and away from my mom?

They injected me with a sedative but my body resisted as I tried to get away from their grasps.

"Evangeline, get back here," I screamed as they injected thrice and I still fought to give her a piece of my mind.

I groaned as my head pounded at the white hospital walls again, I wanted to die and stay with mom. Selfish Evangeline took that away from me. I had nobody here, nothing here yet she just had to take my wish away.

"You need to thank her," an old nurse tutted at me, "she saved your life by donating a big amount of her blood into your system." She snapped at me.

"I didn't want to be saved." I roared as she took a step back with disgrace written on her face, she thought I was a maniac. I didn't correct her because I was a stupid maniac for letting myself live through hell and not die peacefully.

The nurses rushed back but I assured them that I was fine, I hated sedatives so I waited until the nurses filed out and took the needle out of my skin.

"Don't do that, please." She whispered as she came closer to me hesitantly, she was scared of me and she should be, I was back to life with anger in my heart.

"Why did you save me?" I asked with furrowed eyebrows. I knew I couldn't have her so what was the point in living anyway?

"I-" she looked very worn out and sick, "you know what? Fuck you, I had to bloody donate all that I could to you so you wouldn't die because if you did, I would have died." She strained her voice on the last word as she glared at me.

God damn, she looked fucking beautiful even when she was tired and sick of my shit.

"I could have stayed with mom," I muttered and her eyes softened at my words as she held my hand. Her blonde hair was down to her waist and her emerald eyes spoke of all the love poems about me.

"I could stay with you." She softly said as her fingers brushed my hair like my mom did. I closed my eyes and realized that I was in love. I was way into love because she gave it to me.

"We can't-I can't," I mumbled as I shook my head, she squeezed my hand and it made me realize that she did it because she didn't want me up there, she wanted me to be with her. That thought alone simmered my anger down and made me at peace once again.

"We can go through this," her eyes intensified as she stared at me in the most sacred connection, "baby." She whispered cheekily. I smiled at her as she smiled back.

"By the way, I liked our previous position." I winked when I admitted that and she flushed as her eyes nervously averted to the wall beside me so I grabbed her waist and placed her on my lap as she squealed.

We talked about our precious moments in our lives as she was in my lap, where she was meant to be.

As she ranted about her piano sessions, I was just into her excited emerald eyes, the way her eyes lightened up to bright green. The way when she talked about her fears, it turned into the color of forest green and the way she was thought, it turned to her original color.

Enjoy this while you can.

And so I did, I enjoyed listening to the girl who stole my heart and my mind while my arms were around her where they should have been and my head was on her shoulder as she vividly gestured around.

One person had to ruin the moment and made me regret that Evangeline was involved with me in the wrong timing.

Dad was here, and he looked beyond happy as he looked at Evangeline.
