~SIX MONTHS LATER~
It had been long since she had seen Leah. Too long for Emily.
At first, it was difficult to function without seeing her daughter every day after she was placed under her care.
Every day had been a battle with her husband and the drivers. Emily always chose to drive to the facility but then she remembered, Remington had never told her where Leah was kept.
That was probably for the best. Because had he told her, Emily would have long gotten Leah out of there.
Her husband had chosen a facility on the other side of the country where they have to travel by plane and they were all travelling together. Everyone in the family wanted to be there with Leah, for Leah.
Six long months had passed since she had last seen her daughter and Emily could no longer wait. The moment Remington had received a call in the middle of the night which was kind of been the worst nightmare of Emily, only for it to turn out to be good news.
