Leah had no clue if she ever had believed in God, or had attended a Sunday church of any kind in any of the life that she lived. But at the moment, she prayed before opening the door to Aiden.
"You," she whispered.
"Me." He confirmed, like she needed it.
"Aiden." Leah said his name before she pulled herself out of the trance that she was in. "What are you doing here?"
There was no way in the world he could have gained the knowledge of her being here. No one knew, not even Lucy. Then how?!
Did he know Margaret? It was least likely that he knew. If he did not, then how did he come here? Was he stalking her?
Fuck, how many did she have?
"What are you doing here, sweetheart?" He looked behind her with visible expression of judging the place. "This is no place for you."
