Once again, Leah waited until most of the students were gone from the whole. The only benefit of coming out of the class last was that no one was in front of her, walking slowly with the pace of a snail.
Aiden was standing outside her class, leaning against the wall and waiting for her patiently. The way he stood against the wall conveyed that he was aware of her coming out of the class in the end when everyone had already left.
She stood at the door and he pushed himself off the wall before grabbing her hand.
It felt natural to walk with him while everyone stared. Somehow, this time Leah was confident enough to walk together with him without giving a damn about any of the other people.
They had given her nothing but anxiety and she could not afford another visit to the hospital.
"I want to go to the library." She whispered after glancing at him. "I have some work to catch up on."
