Get to know

Its been a week since Inigo and Claudia became couple.

Since they became together, they kept sending each other messages. And every moment that they're together, they just can't be separate.

"Love, do you have any plans or schedule for today?" Claudia asked. She's standing behind Inigo's swivel chair, watching him work as her elbows are on his shoulders.

"Today? I have a meeting with business partner."  He answered without removing his eyes on his laptop.

"What time is that?" she asked.

"Around 11 am." He put down the document he was holding and looked up. "Do you have any plans for today?" Claudia moved away and went beside him.

"Well, if you happen to have free time,  I'd like you to come with me."

"Where?"

"Oxford Street." Claudia answered happily. She really doesn't know if he will agree but she tried.

"You wanna go shopping?" He asked.

Claudia nodded, hoping he's available to be with her. She doesn't want to disturb him while working but she doesn't have any friends that is available to accompany her. Plus she wanted to be with Inigo more than anyone.

"Only if you have free time. I don't wanna go out there alone but I don't want to disturb your work." She slightly pout her lips.

He looks at his laptop before he answered.

"After my meeting let's go eat somewhere and then go to Oxford street after." Good thing, he was able to finish most of the parts of the documents last night. So he has free time today after his meeting.

"Really? Really?" She just couldn't believe what he just said. It fills her heart with so much happiness. It was weird that she's this happy when they only met each other that month.

Claudia held his face and gave a peck no his lips. "Thank you love."

His eyes remained on her, not really believing how happy she is because he agreed to go with her.

Claudia just went to the couch and made herself busy on her phone. She wanted Inigo to finish as soon as he can so she refrain herself from talking to him.

Ever since Claudia became her girlfriend, she keeps visiting him. Since then, he asked Leo to rearrange his office to make it look more relaxing so that Claudia would have her own space whenever she visits him

He doesn't like to have a meeting in his office that's why he never really thought of having good couches in his office. The only couch he has is for Anton who regularly visit his office for organization report.

Inigo looks at his watch. He stopped reading the document and placed it on top of his laptop.

"Hey, I'll be gone for the meeting. I'll be back as soon as I can. Maybe 12 pm? But if I'm still not here by twelve, ask Leo, my secretary to go get you a food. Okay? Don't wait for me. I'll send you a message." He said as soon as he got near her. Claudia just nodded.

He gave her a small kiss on his lips before he left the office.

He doesn't really have a meeting with a business partner. Although he really has a meeting with someone.

He went down to the parking lot and immediately drove his car away from the building.

He drove all the way to the highway. It was quiet near yer far from his office. At the end of the highway, he turned left and drove his way in the middle of an almost forest.

It has enough space for a single car to enter but at the almost end of the forest, the drive way starts to widened.

It took him 5 minutes to get out of the forest and 2 minutes to get to the facade of the hidden Mansion.

The gate has men stationed there carrying loaded gun. As soon as they spot Inigo's car, there's no question the gate automatically open, as if it was waiting for Inigo to come.

The men slightly bow to show respect the moment his car passed by then.

There's a minute driveway before he really got in front of the facade of the mansion.

When he got out of his car, a man in suit immediately went to him.

"Good morning Sir," there's a hint of british accent in his tone as he greets him.

"Where's Anton?" he asked as he handed over his car keys.

"Controller room sir." He nodded and left his car to be taken care of the guy.

The facade has white columns standing tall up to the roof. It looks old and classic with its pure white and brown exterior.

The interior has this renaissance ambiance which adds up to its classiness.

He walked all the way to the basement of the mansion. There's only one room left with the white door.

Inigo turned the door knob and entered the room. It's all white and full of controller.

Anton is leaning on the controller table and typing with his one hand while the other is on the table supporting his weight.

"What's the problem?" He asked Anton while looking at the monitor in front of them.

"It's about the Claudia Santiago." He simply said.

Inigo walked away and help himself with a whiskey. He pour some in the glasses

"What about her?" he asked and sip on his glass.

He was silently waiting for him to answer.

"When you asked me to go and get information about her, I did some clean background check. It was nothing unusual and then, I did some underground check." For a moment, Inigo caught his breath. Not really knowing how he will digest the information that Anton got. Because Inigo knows that whatever Anton got is factual.

"She's part of Omega but that's not it. Omega's businesses are getting successful and her father asked her to handle some businesses here. It was really nothing related to us. Also one more thing, her head is getting bid." He continued as if he was reporting.

"What do you mean?" He's not that dumb to not know what he's saying but he wanted to be sure.

"Her head was up in the black market. She's in danger and assassins are up to kill her."

His grip on the glass tightened as he went closer to the monitor to see Claudia's head on the blacklist.

"Who ordered to kill her?" His eyes were darted on her beautiful face, thinking who ordered her head.

"That's another suspicious thing. There's no name nor code name posted in the order."

With that information, Inigo knows that the person behind this is powerful enough to keep his identity hidden in the black market.

"I need information about the person who ordered to kill her."

He finished the remaining whiskey and left the glass on the table.

He went outside the mansion and left without saying anything. His mind is wandering thinking of every possibility. Who in the world would put up her head on the blacklist? Inigo knows that it wasn't him.

While driving back to his office, he received a call from Leo.

"Yes Leo."

[Sir you're office was attacked.]

Leo's voice seems calm but Inigo knows for sure that it was quicker than it's normal pace.

"Where's Claudia?" He asked.

For a moment, he felt his chest tightened as he waits for his answer.

[She was still in your office. It was attacked outside the building. I think your girlfriend was the target Sir. I did checked the window and the gunshot was aimed where she was sitting.]

He stepped on the gas as his grip tightened m

"I'll be there. Increase the security."

His speed even more, not really minding whether he'll get caught for over speeding. He just wants to be at the office as soon as he can.

He drove straight to the parking lot. When he got out of his car, he opened the trunk and lift the pad that covers the floor.

Different sizes of gun was underneath it.

He took a pistol and kept it behind him. He even loaded it with few ammunition to make sure he's prepared enough.

He has his own elevator. He ride on it. As soon as he stepped out, his steps were quicker, almost running.

Leo immediately went to him.

"Where is she?"

"Inside your office sir." Leo hand over him his Ipad. "We captured that outside the building. We can see from the reflection, she really was the target." Leo further explained how he got the footage "This is a footage from the cctv from the opposite building."

In front of his building is a renowned hotel that stood tall like his building. Enough to see each other's floor.

In the footage is a man assembling his sniper and placing it on the window. The man peak at the rear sight and in just a second, he pulled the trigger. When the bullet didn't pierce through the glass wall, he immediately disassembled the sniper and left the hotel.

"Did you get the man?" He asked

"No Sir. He checked in using an alter identity." He just sighed and went inside the office.

"Hey!" Claudia immediately stood up and went to him to give him a hug.

"You're done with your business matter?" she asked

"Yes, get ready. We'll leave in five."

Claudia just nodded and went to the couch where she left her bag.

Inigo then walk to the glass wall and traced the crack where the bullet almost pierced

Looking from the inside, you wouldn't notice that it was shot but he knows his building well that he knows where exactly the bullet was shot.

His jaw tightened while thinking of how blunt and brave the assassin who attack the building, knowing that he owns it.

"Love what are you thinking?" Claudia asked and held his arm.

He slides her hand and held it.

"Nothing, let's go. I'm fucking hungry."

The whole time he was driving, he can't help but to look around. Even when Claudia was shopping, his eyes keep wandering around. Even though they are in public, assassins can be quiet murderous even in the daylight.

He was only able to breath in relief when they got back inside his car.

"Are you okay?" Claudia asked while watching him looking around. Her eyes looks worried as she keeps noticing Inigo looking bothered

"Yes, I'm fine." He simply answered. He just got no time to explain what the hell is happening. He neither wants to scare Claudia.

He drove all the way out of the mall and went to a restaurant.
