Aren was born without emotional capacity. Because he could not experience basic feelings, he was unable to connect with the world, his family, or those around him. Even loneliness held no meaning for him. He grew up in this emotional void throughout his life; he could not understand the feelings of others, but he did not see this condition as a deficiency. Everything changed in a fight. For the first time, he experienced emotions like violence and madness. In that moment, it felt as if the world had slowed down, and the chaos around him blurred into the background. These new emotions were both interesting and pleasurable. Over time, as he continued to seek out violence, he began to realize that the reason for his lack of emotions was that the ability within him was suppressing his feelings.
