Terra.

It's a medium-sized planet amid the vast universe, where the laws of earthly physics come to a halt.

Of course, there's always similarities, as it was a world written with a livable planet in mind or with Earth as a reference. But even so, this is a product of fantasy. Extra laws and forms of energy changed the way humans lived on this planet. Mana and Aura had all put the path of humanity and all living creatures in a different direction. Strong forms of energy completely flipped the path humanity took in terms of improvement.

As for its geography, it's a planet that holds four big continents with their respective cultures and beliefs. Going along in the shape of a seven, with each continent separated by a single ocean enveloping the entire world. The continents all hold their respective ground, with an area just as big as the others yet having their own unique geography and traits. One such continent is Lepan, the continent where my novel was focused.

In the middle of the array of continents, forming a seven, is Lepan. A continent in the shape of a miniature lamp and a central hotspot for everyone. Due to its easily accessible position at the middlemost part of the world map, it serves as the biggest trading center of all continents, making it the most prominent out of everything else.

Thus, due to the incredible influence of Lepan, inside it, at the center of it all yet again, lies the biggest and grandest kingdom in the story. The Great Kingdom of Lux. A place where the entire plot of land is managed by four kings and a single emperor. A place where incredible people gather and even the saviors of this world thrive.

If I were to compare it to Earth, Lepan was a little bigger than Asia, and the Kingdom of Lux is about as big as Russia.

But what's most important about this place is that it has the biggest city in it. About as big as half of the entirety of China, an entire continuous city spanning across such a great area lies. The Grand City, Lumi. Even in the real world, there's no city as big as Lumi. It's pretty much an entire country or two after all.

The center of everything that happened and will happen in the span of a few years.

And I'm here right now, in this exact city.

I still don't know how or what happened for me to suddenly be inside my own story, but it's not like I can find answers even if I try.

All I needed to do was focus on the present and the future as I tried to figure out how to fix this mess that I got myself into.

Although I want to act confident and say that I knew everything here, the fact that this place is a warzone and a place of death is still a fact. This is a place where I can't just dilly-dally, as if I want to survive, I need to move quickly and smartly.

With that being said, I decided to reread my details in the ID to make sure I didn't miss anything.

[Julius Solomon]

Age: 18

Nationality: Citizen of the Great Kingdom of Lux

Gender: M

Blessings: Attention Seeker (Unique)

Notes: An orphan from the 7th District (slums). Hold a unique blessing. No further potential was discovered. Needs further information. Miscellaneous type blessing.

First, it seems like I regressed a few years backwards as I transmigrated here. And it seems like I didn't arrive here with anything on my hands. A Blessing.

Blessings are in themselves; blessings...

They are skills given to every single person born in Terra the moment they are born. Although it isn't proven yet, continuous interest in figuring out more details for this topic has proven beneficial as theories about the blessings are made. Though not yet concrete and fixed, ideas such as that they came from gods had risen from the histories. Some say they are a product of the constant buildup of mana in the womb through consuming, inhaling, or being in the presence of aura or mana.

They are basically talents that, in a sense, shape your entire life depending on the said blessing, as they will drastically improve your skill in some aspect of life or another. To show how incredible they are, managing Lumi would be impossible if not for the presence of blessings.

As for me, I didn't really expect to have a blessing or an entire story at all. I'm someone who was not originally from here after all. But as I look at my ID, it seems like I've been here since I was born.

Regardless, it's not something I should be sad about; it's better to have history than none, as being that inconspicuous only leads to bad scenarios.

But anyway, as for my blessing, I don't know whether I should be happy or not. Attention Seeker, really? Why did a blessing with such a discriminating name show up? Yes, it's unique, so I have somewhat of an advantage just by judging from the fact that it's unique and not that it could be a bad blessing regardless of its rarity.

But since it's the first time it ever showed up, as per its name, there's no information whatsoever on what my skill does. So, I guess there's some discrete benefit to my skill somehow.

On to the matter of how it works...

I can't explain it, but I instinctively know how it works and what it does the moment I think about it. It's like breathing, somewhat. I just know how to do it and why I should do it.

Following what my instinct was telling me to do, I tensed my body a bit as I tried to lead something from my stomach, or at least the middle of my torso, towards my eyes.

And in a second, I could visibly feel my eyes grow colder. At a short distance, whether it was the lady talking to me or just someone walking by, they all instinctively looked in my direction at the same time, in the blink of an eye.

"Uh..." I couldn't help but feel awkward from the sudden attention I got from everyone.

But I'm not going to lie; as time passes, this much attention wasn't as bad as I thought.

Crap. Is this why I got this blessing in the first place?

So, I guess it works.

It didn't take long for them to retain their composure, however, as within a second, they immediately looked away, followed by a dazed look before going off on their own chores.

The range seemed small, and the time they're affected is short, yet why was that so damn tiring?

It felt like I just ran for a few miles in that single second that just passed.

It's still better than nothing, as I had expected to face this entire world with no blessing in hand. It seems like I might have to think of a future with my blessing in mind, all while giving me the best chance of survival.

Thinking of something isn't fast, so I decided to focus on other pressing matters.

After finishing my breakfast, I went back to my room to regain my thoughts. I didn't want to do anything in such a strange situation without having some rough plans, after all.

First of all, my only goal for now is to survive. I can try and think about some clue as to why I'm here in the future, but knowing the timeline of the entire story, I know that surviving by itself will need all my focus.

As of now, it seems like I'm directly at the start of the story. The entrance examination.
