The room was quiet and the atmosphere was a little intense.
Su Ming Yuan sat behind the desk while looking at the documents in front of him. His heart grew heavier the longer that he read the documents.
At the side, his cousins were staring at him anxiously.
Su Ming Yuan ignored their piercing gaze and kept his attention on the documents. From the corner of his eyes, Su Ming Yuan could see his grandfather leaning back on his chair while observing him.
The old man's lips turned up into a faint smile as if finding the situation before him was amusing. He was not in a hurry to let Su Ming Yuan read everything on the paper.
After a moment that felt like forever, Su Ming Yuan finally put down the paper in his hand and looked up. He did not speak a word but met his grandfather's eyes for a long time.
"Ah Yuan, what do you think?" Grandfather Han spoke after a long silence. "Do you think you can do it?"
