Chapter twenty two
Sophia walked around the farm, but there was no one there. The place looked abandoned, and she wondered what had happend to the place.
As she tried to leave the farm, she noticed that she was just going round in circles, and no matter where she followed, she ended up in at the same spot were she began.
However, Sophia was relentless. She walked into one of the rooms which suddenly turned out to be the auction house, and surprisingly, there were people there.
The entire event seemed so familiar, and she realised it was because she was relieving the moment she was sold to Alex.
As she waited in line, she saw the old lady heading towards her. Sophia tried to speak, but she couldn't.
The old woman walked up to her and stared at her for a while before slapping her hard on her face. Sophia was so weak that she nearly fell over from the impact.
