Chapter nineteen

Sophia's eyes widened in surprise, she never thought that Valerie would ask about what she and Alex were talking about. It was indeed a smart move that got Sophia on edge.

"She got me." Sophia whispered to Alex. "how am I supposed to come up with something now?"

Alex sighed. "I didn't expect Valerie to be this difficult. Well, why don't you just talk about your favourite show, I'm sure there are some hilarious things in it." He whispered.

Valerie raised an eyebrow. "what's the matter? Suddenly lost your tongue?" She teased, but Alex gave her a glare and she regained her composure.

Sophia thought for a moment, the sudden tension blocking the windows of her memory. 

"Why can't I remember something funny in that show?" Sophia asked herself. At that point she tried everything she could to remember something funny about the show she watched but nothing seemed to come into her memory.
