Pain and agony rushed through me as the Bloodat continued it's assault on me, with rapid kicks to my pelvis, chest, back, neck and head I surely thought it was over. I raised my head to see who the Bloodat was talking to and to my surprise it was a girl who looked my age, but parts of her face and palms where patched up with green scales and her eyes shimmed with a golden glow.

Veteran stretched his wings ready to attack, but this was one fearless look girl, she pulled out a strange looking blade that resembled a swordfish head.

She forced the tip of the blade at the Bloodat and a rings of pressurized air blasted the Knight off me and close to the edge. The girl then whistled loudly, this shook the Bloodat because three wolves with wings attacked it from behind. Realizing the situation it was in, Veteran retreated to the top of the cave and made his way to the castle.

" Ahhhh, " she exhaled with relief and then knelt down to embrace the winged wolves. " Reforestyer, one of the cursed weapons my father's after...it has the ability to not just increase growth, but also to heal injuries no matter how bad the damage.

My name is Kate and if you don't mind I'll be taking the Reforestyer and be on my way", Kate said as she reached here hand out. For a scaly looking monster, she was kinda cute.
