Family feud

Like the opening of the gates of Valhalla, a bright light shone as the shield on the healing capsule opened. Zi Han reached over with his trembling hands his eyes stinging on the verge of tears. "Pa," he whispered as a lone tear flowed down his cheek like a weeping maiden. His emotions were clearly written on his face and could easily stir others.

Zi Han lightly tapped the man's shoulder and whispered in a heartbreaking tone, "Pa."

But his Pa didn't answer. He looked like he was completely out of it. "Pa.... dad... dad," he called out again this time his tone much more urgent than before but the person remained still like he was devoid of life.

Zi Han clenched his fingers preventing himself from shaking his father a little too hard trying to wake him up. The veins on his hand became even more prominent as he clenched tightly.

He took a step back telling himself that his father was going to be okay over and over again.
