Yeoh Jun was afraid she would cry out and attract the attention of the people downstairs so he hugged her while rubbing her back to comfort her. His expression looked like that of a man at a loss as to what to do.

He had no idea that this was what his son endured. His mother cried like this almost every time she got wasted and Zi Han had to comfort her. Hell even Zi Feiji, her own father hadn't seen her cry as much as Zi Han had. That's because when she was a baby she barely cried unless Zi Feiji took her pacifier. As she grew older she wasn't the kind of child that would cry when upset. She was the 'sleep with one eye open because I am petty' type of child.
