Demona was with Pure, pushing her strands of hair to the side, after arriving at the cave. Desmond looked at Pure and his heart melted. She was truly beautiful. His heart ran in worry for where Sofia was. He still had not seen her anywhere. Neither was there any sign of Zebu.

He had been uneasy since Roger pushed him into coming to the cave. He really wanted to ensure that Sofia was safe.

'Where is she?' His mind ran over and over again, hoping Jane who had followed Wisdom into the cave would bring back the news she was on the other side. That was what kept him holding on to the ideology that she was somewhere close by and not outside.

He looked down at Demona who's gaze never left Pure.

That was when Desmond realized the awkward silence that reigned as they both were lost in their own world of thoughts.

"What happened to her?"

Desmond asked just to show concern;

"I don't know."

The answer frightened Desmond a bit;
