The Ascendant's Advent

Numerous stars lined up in the vast galaxy, each showing the most brilliant light they could muster. Large planets float in the galaxy calmly resting in their place with many nebula forming different images near them. One of the nebulas took on the image of the statue of Liberty, one took the appearance of a withered sakura tree, and one took the form of an eldritch abomination.

In the middle of the vast galaxy, a strange teenage girl can be seen seemingly standing barefooted on an invisible platform. In front of her was a strange orb of light, shining so bright that even the sun couldn't muster. Her long white hair flowed until her feet, fading into light purple color and forming a curls in the end.

The purple eyes of her, stared blankly at the small orb of light without any signs of irritation or whatsoever even though the luminescent orb in front of her was emitting a light that outshines even the brightest star. On her waist, a pair of white, feathery wings portrude from it with the ends of it emitting a dark violet shine and strange sigils imprinted on it.

"...Boring.." The girl muttered before crushing the small orb with her own frail looking hand, shattering it to pieces and dissolving it to nothingness. Suddenly, a wormhole formed behind her with a little girl running out of it with a wide smile on her face. The younger girl wears a white cloth, resembling those clothes worn by the greek gods.

The little girl's long blonde hair flowed freely as she ran towards the taller girl, who was now softly gazing at her with a small smile on her face.

"Luna, what are you doing here?" The older girl gently asked before scooping up the little bundle of joy in her arms, who smiled brighter at the gesture displayed by the white-haired girl.

The little girl now named Luna answered in response with sparkling eyes, "Ne ne, Onysus-sama, is it true that you're a mortal before?!"

"Hmm...where did you heard that?" The girl who was now known as Onysus replied, with one of her eyebrows raised.

"Skadi-sama, told me!"

"Geh...that dumb orca..." Onysus muttered under her breath with a stylized bead of sweat dropping from her forehead. Luna tilted her head cutely, confused at her words.

Sighing heavily, the white-haired girl gently brought the little girl in her arms down before answering, "Well...yeah, I was a mortal before."

"Wooooahhh! Then how did you become a strong God, Onysus-sama!" Luna exclaimed looking at Onysus with a look of admiration and sparkling eyes. The white-haired girl chuckled and patted the girl's head gently.

As she was about to reply, Luna suddenly added, "Ah! Also, why are you called 'The Endbringer' and 'The Twilight of Gods,' Onysus-sama?! I want to know!!!"

Onysus couldn't help but blush at the unexpected mention of her former titles with a great vigour and admiration by a kid. The titles she have earned when she caused chaos within the realm of Gods a long time ago that was supposed to be forgotten already.

'Uwaa....I thought I forbid anyone from spreading those titles since they're so cringey! Did Skadi tell Luna those too! I'm gonna correct that dumb orca later!' The white-haired girl thought blushing with a visible irkmark on her forehead. Coughing, Onysus calmed herself before answering the little girl.

"It's a long story, are you sure you want to hear it?" Onysus aske with her arms crossed over her flat chest.

"Yes!"

"Well then, listen to it carefully okay? It's because I'm only gonna tell it once."

"Understood, Onysus-sama!" Doing a cute salute, Luna answered with a bright smile.

With a helpless smile on her face, Onysus clapped her hands. Suddenly, a wooden chair appeared out of nowhere and the white-haired girl sat on it before placing Luna on her lap.

Gazing at the world Earth with a small smile on her face, floating so far from her position, Onysus started her storytelling.

"Now, it all began when I—"
