Chapter 13: This is the new Cry.

(Cry POV)

We stopped in front of an Italian restaurant. I am totally lost right now. I was looking at the idiot like someone who got mind blocked in an exam. Why would he bring me here? What the hell is going on right now?

Suddenly, the car door was opened by one of Leon’s minions.

“We’re here!” He said.

“We’re where? What the hell are we doing here?” I asked.

“Questions later please! Your prince is waiting for you.”

I snarled before aggressively getting out. I didn’t bother waiting for them to accompany me. I stomped my feet all the way to the restaurant angrily. I pushed the door open and looked for Leon.

I then saw him at the very end. He waved his hand, signaling me that he is right there and for me to sit with him. He has that stupid smirk on his face, probably assuming that he can easily win me over by this Italian restaurant date gimmick. I rushed to him furiously that people are starting to stare at me.

“What the hell do you think you’re doing?” I asked.

“Setting us up on a date?” He said as he shrugged.

“You know what? I don’t know who you think you are but this is not going to work. For you to make your minions carry me and bring me here against my will is not cool. This is not charming or sweet, it’s fucking annoying! Now, can you please bring me back to school?!” I said in stern and pissed off voice.

“Stop causing a scene and sit down.” He responded.

“I am not…”

“SIT DOWN!” He said in a loud voice.

Wow! He still has the nerve to get mad at me after everything that he’s done. Two can play at this game. I took his wine glass and spilled the wine all over his shirt, which earned some gasps from the diners. He looked at me dumbfounded but he eased his expression after a while.

“Even if you pour the wine on my head right now, I still won’t let you go. You’re going to have to eat with me first.” He said.

“You are shameless as hell! Do you think I’m just going to forgive you like that? Just because you apologized in the park and now, you’re setting up this stupid lunch for me, that doesn’t mean that we’re okay already. You destroyed my paintings and you beat me up everyday. Go to hell, Leon Gonzales!!” I said before taking the plate of Spaghetti Marinara and throwing it over his head.

The sight was so satisfying. The way the tomato sauce dripped from his hair to his forehead to his nose to his chin is like an appetizer of my revenge. The dining room customers looked at us in shock and disgust. His minions’ jaws are dropped open, in disbelief of what I just did.

Leon just looked at me blankly before removing the plate on his head, as well as the pasta all over him and wiping his face with his handkerchief. He then went back to staring at me. He is perfectly still and frozen this time. I then took the courage to go near him and pull out his wallet from his pocket since he’s not doing anything at all.

I took one bill of money for my cab ride, going back to school before returning his wallet to him. Without saying anything, I left the restaurant with all eyes still attached to me.

That’s right! This is the new Cry now!
