In the base-
Charles had arranged separate rooms for Balthazar and David, making all the facilities in the base open to both of them.
David didn't return to his own room but followed his teacher Balthazar to the latter's room.
Balthazar looked at David, who followed him in, and asked with confusion, "What is it?"
"Teacher, you mentioned earlier that my bloodline is not simple. What's going on?"
David had always thought of himself as a lucky guy with a bit of magical talent, fortunate enough to have a good teacher named Balthazar and an elder brother called Supreme Merlin.
However, regarding his own bloodline, he believed it was that of an ordinary Earthling.
Balthazar closed the room door, sat on the sofa, and then began to explain, "You've been practicing magic for quite some time now. You must have noticed the differences between yourself and others."
David asked with confusion, "Using magic without a magic ring?"
"Mastering Merlin's magic quickly?"
During his time in the magical world, David had visited several magical academies, and the wizards there usually spent a long time learning even the basic magic. However, David seemed to grasp magical skills quite rapidly.
Balthazar nodded, signaling David to sit down.
"Merlin's history, you should be somewhat familiar with it," Balthazar said.
David nodded, "Teacher, you've mentioned Merlin's history before, and I've learned about it from magical history."
Balthazar smiled and nodded.
"Based on my speculation, the blood of Merlin should be flowing within you!"
"The blood of Merlin!"
"How is that possible?"
David was incredulous, his mouth wide open in astonishment.
Balthazar remained calm and said, "Do you remember the ring you obtained from me initially?"
"The Dragon Ring?"
"Yes!"
"Teacher, you should know that I sold the ring to my elder brother a long time ago. Does the ring have any special significance?"
Balthazar fell silent for a moment and then continued, "Using magic without a ring, plus the recognition of the Dragon Ring, proves that you have the bloodline of Merlin."
Hearing Balthazar's words, David's face showed disbelief. He had sold the ring to his elder brother long ago, and it was known that the Dragon Ring recognized both him and his elder brother.
"Does my elder brother also have the bloodline of Merlin?"
Balthazar initially suspected this, but in the end, he confirmed that Charles did not have the bloodline of Merlin. As for how the Dragon Ring recognized him, perhaps it was fate.
"No, his situation is somewhat special."

On the other side-
Ginny arrived outside Orochimaru's laboratory and gently pushed open the laboratory's door.
"Creak!"
As the laboratory door opened, Ginny looked inside.
Seeing a man wearing surgical gloves and studying a corpse, Ginny respectfully called out, "Mr. Orochimaru!"
Orochimaru did not stop his actions but continued to work on the corpse. His face, cold and stern, had a faint evil charm.
"It's Secretary Ginny, isn't it? What do you need?"
Orochimaru didn't turn around but asked casually.
"Lady Tsunade mentioned that the latest enhancer serum has been preliminarily developed but has not undergone human testing."
"Do you have any requirements for the experimental subjects so that I can allocate personnel accordingly?"
Upon hearing that Ginny came to deliver experimental subjects, Orochimaru's eyes lit up. He stopped his research, removed his gloves, and took out a document from a nearby workstation, handing it to Ginny.
"According to the requirements on this document, just bring a batch of experimental subjects."
"The previous two potions have been tested without any problems. This time, the potion can be tested according to the specified ratio."
"If everything goes well, it can be put into use."
Ginny nodded, "I will recruit experimental subjects as soon as possible. Thank you, Mr. Orochimaru."
Orochimaru nodded, "After confirming the issues with the potion as soon as possible, I can start new research."
"How is Lord Charles doing? Have you confirmed the situation?"
Seeing that Ginny was concerned about the enhancer serum, Orochimaru thought that the situation on that side should not be too serious.
Ginny hesitated for a moment but still shared the information she knew.
Upon hearing Ginny's words, Orochimaru couldn't help but lick his lips with his tongue.
"Bloodline reversion, interesting."
The only disappointment for Orochimaru was that he couldn't personally conduct research on this phenomenon.
However, Tsunade would record all changes in Charles, so he resisted his curiosity and didn't join the observation.
"Since it's a good thing, there's nothing to worry about. I hope Lord Charles completes the transformation soon."
Ginny also agreed, nodding her head. However, she still said, "During this time, please pay attention to the defense of the base."
"With us here, no one will attack and enter."
After a brief communication with Orochimaru, Ginny left to prepare experimental subjects for him.

Sunagakure Puppet Shop-
Kankuro, who had just returned from Tony Stark's mansion, entered the shop.
Seeing her younger brother, Temari immediately greeted him with excitement.
"Kankuro, come over here."
"I have something interesting to show you, and I believe you'll be interested."
Kankuro, carrying his new puppet, walked over as soon as he entered the door.
"Sis, what interesting thing did you find?"
Temari placed the two pieces of metal brought by Agent Ward in front of Kankuro, then spoke:
"Vibranium, and Secondary Adamantium. Have you heard of them?"
Kankuro exclaimed, "Vibranium?"
"I heard Mr. Stark say that this stuff is extremely rare, with an unbelievably low stock."
Temari nodded, then explained the characteristics of these two metals and her discoveries to Kankuro.
Learning about these two metals, Kankuro was astonished. Secondary Adamantium had an extremely high adaptability to chakra, even surpassing the metals used in typical ninja tools, while Vibranium had slightly less adaptability than chakra metals but was still impressive.
Most importantly, according to the intelligence obtained by Temari, this Vibranium, which is comparable to Chakra metals, is much easier to obtain than Chakra metals in the shinobi world.
As far as Kankuro knew, even the son of the wealthiest Third Hokage of the Fire Country only used Chakra metals to create two small throwing knives.
As the daughter of the Kazekage, Temari's Three-Star Fan only had a bit of Chakra metal mixed into the fan bones.
Kankuro had an even worse situation; his puppets didn't have any of these expensive materials added.
"I have already reached a preliminary cooperation agreement with them. I believe we will soon obtain these three types of metals."
After hearing the cooperations reached by his sister, Kankuro also talked about his gains from Stark.
After the siblings finished their exchange, Kankuro suggested, "Combine the information about these three types of metals and give it to Lord Charles. I believe Lord Charles needs these metals more for crafting weapons."
Temari smiled, "I've already transmitted the information through the summoning beast."
"I believe Lord Charles will receive the information soon. After the deal is concluded, I will hand over the three types of metals to Lord Charles for him to decide how to use these materials."
Seeing that his sister had already arranged everything, Kankuro didn't say much on this matter. Instead, he expressed concern for his younger brother.
"What about Gaara? Has he returned?"
"He's back and resting upstairs."
Relieved to hear that Gaara had returned, Kankuro then joined his sister in closing the shop and returning to their rooms to rest.

The next day at noon-
After a day of waiting, Snake Shield Bureau agent Crossbones finally received his reinforcement team – a fully armed attack squad consisting of thirty members carrying heavy weapons.
After a hug with Crossbones, the leader of the reinforcements, Special Agent Hendel Dubois, immediately listened to the intelligence Crossbones had gathered.
"The four-person team, after kidnapping Jane Foster, hasn't escaped our surveillance."
Crossbones pointed at the map and said, "Currently, they've moved to this location, but they haven't restricted Jane's freedom. This is a bit strange."
Hendel Dubois, the head of the attack team, listened to Crossbones' account and then spoke, "Find a way to separate Jane Foster from them."
"Only when they are separated can we confidently use heavy weapons. Otherwise, accidentally injuring Jane would be troublesome for us."
"They've been sticking close to Jane, and we can't separate them."
After contemplating for a moment, Crossbones suggested, "What if we push the blame onto them?"
Dubois looked at Crossbones in surprise, then asked, "Have we identified the information about this team?"
Crossbones shook his head, "The intelligence department hasn't sent any messages yet. We can only confirm that they are not from the U.S., but we can't determine the specific organization."
After thinking for a while, Dubois still spoke up:
"The forces behind these people surely can't withstand the wrath of Thor. We don't want to get involved in a situation where it's not worth the trouble."
"So, we must protect Jane's safety. That's our job."
"What about these few individuals?"
"When they're asleep at night, we use tranquilizer gas attack on them tonight and capture them alive as much as possible."
"Higher-ups need a live sample. If you can't get one alive, a dead one is also acceptable."
Crossbones smiled upon hearing this, "Then let's act tonight."
"Make sure to not let them escape."
On the surveillance screen, cameras were pointed at the house where Jane and the others were staying, as well as the surrounding streets. However, there was no sign of SHIELD agents nearby.
As night fell, Jane, busy throughout the day, spoke, "I need to stay in this small town for a few days to observe the changes in the night sky."
Moses didn't mind, "That's your freedom. We are here to guard you and ensure your safety."
Hearing that they were indeed acting as bodyguards, Jane relaxed a bit.
But she still asked, "Do you know the identity of those people from yesterday?"
Moses shook his head, "Not clear. Perhaps your information leaked, and someone wants to use your identity for something."
"Identity? What identity do I have? I'm just an ordinary scientist."
Yahweh interjected, "No, you're also Thor's girlfriend."
Hearing this unexpected answer, Jane was momentarily stunned but had to accept it. This identity was the real reason for the attacks on her.
Moses calmly said, "Don't worry about the attackers; we'll handle them. Focus on your research, leave the rest to us. It's getting late; you should rest. We'll be outside your door. If anything happens, just call for us."
After saying this, Moses left Jane's room with others, heading to the living room.
Moses looked at Sol, who was sitting on the sofa, and asked, "Sol, what's the situation at the base?"
Sol responded, "I've reported the situation to the base, informing them that we've successfully received Jane Foster and are providing protection."
"The base has instructed us to focus on protecting Jane. If necessary, we can mobilize the nearby forces or request reinforcements at any time."
Moses said, "We don't need the High Table's power. As for reinforcements, our strength should be sufficient."
"About the force that is tracking Jane, what did the base say?"
"They haven't provided any useful information as we didn't take photos. The scene was also quickly cleaned up after we left."
"But the base said they would report the information. Maybe Secretary Ginny will know something."
Moses nodded but didn't say anything.
However, Sol expressed some regret, "Boss, this mission, we might miss something big."
Moses was surprised, "What happened?"
"According to the base, Secretary Ginny informed everyone that there would be a second martial arts competition in a while. It's said that the rewards may be even more generous than the first time."
"Boss, if you were there, you would definitely be the champion, and you could undergo a second evolution then."
Hearing about the martial arts competition, other teammates, who hadn't spoken, also expressed regret, "It's indeed a pity. If we could participate, we might also get a reward!"
Moses looked at the three of them and said indifferently, "There's nothing to regret. If we can successfully complete this mission without any mishaps, I believe Secretary Ginny won't be stingy with the rewards."
"Specially for the three of you, participating in the martial arts competition doesn't guarantee a reward, but as long as this mission goes smoothly without any mistakes, I'm sure Secretary Ginny won't skimp on the rewards."
