Tony didn't drive his Mark armor to go eat pizza this time. Instead, he stayed at the mansion. At this moment, Tony sat on a lounge chair, legs crossed, looking at the calm sea outside.

At this moment, Natasha, back in her spy outfit, walked in.

"The communication signals here have all been blocked. No one will disturb us temporarily," Natasha said.

Seeing Natasha coming in, Tony sneered, "Nick Fury, is this how you treat your consultant? Sending undercover agents into my place."

"With your behavior, wanting to form a superhero team is simply delusional," Tony continued.

Watching Tony's outburst, Nick Fury was not surprised. Natasha had already informed him last night that Charles had revealed her identity.

Pointing to Natasha, Nick Fury introduced, "Tony, this is Agent Romanoff."

Natasha added, "I'm an undercover agent for S.H.I.E.L.D. When S.H.I.E.L.D. found out you were sick, Director Fury sent me to observe you."

Tony extended his hands, "I'm Iron Man; I don't get sick."

"You better apologize and compensate for such actions!"

Nick Fury said at this time, "This behavior of yours is abnormal. You appointed Pepper Potts as CEO, gave away your property, let your friend fly away in the Iron Man armor, and even prevented Charles from stopping Rhodes at that time."

Nick Fury continued. "If I didn't know the situation, I would have thought you were replaced by aliens."

Tony explained, "I didn't give it to him; he took it."

"Tony, do you take everyone for fools?" Nick Fury questioned. "Without your authorization, could he activate the Iron Man armor? Without your obstruction, could Charles let him leave alive?"

Tony covered his forehead with his hand, thinking, how to regain control of the conversation. This head of the spy agency was indeed not simple.

"Is this why you came to find me? To come here and preach?" Tony asked.

Nick Fury pulled Tony's chest clothes, and when he saw that there was no trace of palladium metal poisoning on Tony's neck, he looked at Natasha.

Seeing Nick Fury's gaze, Natasha first nodded and then shook her head.

Understanding, Nick Fury said, "It seems your good friend Charles, along with some power we don't know about, actually relieved you of palladium metal poisoning."

"But as a consultant for S.H.I.E.L.D., we can't just ignore it. We have something here that you haven't tried."

Tony now understood what Nick Fury was talking about but pretended to be clueless, saying, "I've tried every element and conducted all possible combinations. Nothing has appeared to replace palladium."

"That thing on your chest is based on unfinished technology."

"No, it's a finished product. It only became effective after I shrunk it."

"No, your dad said the arc reactor is just a springboard for greater technology. He was planning an energy competition that would leave all competitors in the dust."

"His dream was bigger. Compared to that, a nuclear reactor would be like a size 7 battery."

"Only him? What about Anton Vanko?"

"Anton Vanko was like the other side of the coin, like a copper plate. He thought that was the way to make big money. When your father found out, he kicked him out of the country. When the Soviet government found out he couldn't deliver, they sent him to Siberia. He has been living a drunken life for the past 20 years."

Then Nick Fury clapped his hands, and two agents brought in a huge box, placing it in front of the two.

"This is what your father left for you. He said that with your intelligence, you would definitely be able to create what he envisioned in the future."

Seeing the finally revealed object, Tony sighed with relief. They finally brought it out. These guys actually confiscated so many things left by his father for so many years. They were just bastards.

Thinking about these people expecting gratitude and seeing themselves as saviors, Tony couldn't help but feel annoyed. Fortunately, Charles helped him in advance and told him everything, or he might have been tricked by this one-eyed guy.

Tony looked at the thing in front of him and said, "My father's things. Why have they been with you all this time? They should have been given to me when my father left."

"What else do you have that should belong to me?"

Hearing that Tony didn't react as expected, Nick Fury said, "Your father was one of the founders of S.H.I.E.L.D. It's normal for him to leave some things with us."

Then Nick Fury checked his watch, "I have another meeting later; I'll leave first."

"Natasha will continue to stay at Stark Industries undercover, and Agent Coulson will stay behind. I'll also keep an eye on you."

After speaking, Nick Fury stood up from his chair, put on his coat, glanced at Tony, and then turned to leave.

"Hey, you haven't said yet, does my father have other things with you?"

"That is my property, you can't confiscate it."

Hearing Tony's words, Nick Fury didn't look back. At the same time, his footsteps quickened.

Natasha spoke, "We have cut off all communication and cannot contact the outside. Good luck to you."

Watching Nick Fury leave and the box on the ground, Tony's mouth curled slightly. "Agent Coulson, help bring this box into my underground lab. I want to see what's inside."

After saying that, Tony turned and walked towards the underground lab, leaving Agent Coulson behind.

He was here to monitor that Tony didn't leave the mansion, not to do miscellaneous work. But seeing Tony leaving, he could only helplessly call two agents to move the box into the basement lab.
