Chapter 187: A-level mission

In the room, Sasuke had just finished drawing a sketch of the battle between several werewolves and vampires in the subway station. 

Looking at the portraits of the individuals, Iruka nodded in satisfaction and proceeded to take photos of the sketches and send them to Lord Charles through the computer. 

Just as Iruka was about to use the hotel's intelligence system to gather information on these individuals, the room phone suddenly rang. Answering the call, he heard a voice on the other end.

"Lord Iruka, good day. I am the staff responsible for issuing bounty tasks at the hotel."

"We have a guest who wants to commission the four of you for a task. He claims to be a friend from the subway station and wishes to entrust a task to you."

Listening to the staff member, Iruka pondered for a moment. 

The subway station? 

"Alright, I understand. I'll be right down." After hanging up, Iruka glanced at the three others and said, "The target has come to us. You guys wait here in the room."

"Understood!" they replied.

As Iruka left the room, Naruto suddenly stuck his head out and suggested, "Should we secretly follow and see who has come to find us?" 

Sasuke glanced at Naruto, rolling his eyes and calling him an idiot. Rock Lee added, "Naruto, it's likely someone from the subway station, either a werewolf or a vampire. Let's wait for Iruka-sensei to come back; we'll find out then."

"Moreover, the hotel's bounty commissions are conducted in small rooms. You won't be able to hide there," he added. 

Hearing the rejection from both, Naruto just jumped onto the bed, lying there in a sprawled position, muttering, "You guys are no fun."

Meanwhile, Raze had been waiting for a while and saw Iruka enter the room. 

Observing the scar that ran across his face, Raze couldn't help but wonder what kind of enemy could have caused such an injury. 

After all, in Raze's mind, Iruka was someone with powerful strength.

Iruka settled in the task room and, upon seeing Raze, asked, "What brings you here to see me?"

Raze looked at Iruka and replied, "Hello, sir. My name is Raze. I'm sure you've witnessed the scene at the subway station. I won't hide it from you anymore."

"We are werewolves, and our enemies are vampires. I want to commission you and the other three present at the subway station to help us resist the vampire attacks."

"The timeframe is three days, starting from the moment you accept the task. For this, I am willing to offer 10 gold coins and 3 million pounds."

Upon hearing the mission proposal, Iruka thought to himself that this was an opportune moment, as he had been looking to investigate these two races and now, the opportunity had presented itself. 

Retrieving an empty scroll from his shinobi pouch, Iruka spread it out on the table and declared, "I am known as Umino Iruka. We accept your mission!"

Iruka promptly wrote the details of the mission on the scroll and handed it over to Raze.

Looking at the scroll thrown to him, Raze was somewhat puzzled.

Throughout his long life, he had worked as an assassin and accepted tasks from the Continental Hotel, but he had refrained from appearing in public due to the pursuit of the werewolf among the vampires.

Taking the scroll and examining its contents, Raze was surprised. "The Continental Hotel has changed the format for publishing missions?"

Iruka explained, "It's not that the Continental Hotel has changed the format, but if you want to commission us, this is the way to do it."

"And you need to pay the mission fee in advance."

As he spoke, Iruka took out his Adjudicator's coin and played with it in his hand.

Seeing the object in Iruka's hand, Raze suddenly realized. He knew that there were Adjudicators above the assassins, but he didn't expect to encounter one today.

Without hesitation, Raze signed his name on the mission scroll and immediately took out ten Continental Hotel coins and a bank card, saying, "Sir, there's 3 million pounds in the account. The password is 666666."

Iruka accepted the mission scroll from Raze and submitted it to the mission hall, receiving a prompt shortly after.

A-level mission, commissioned by Raze, executed by Umino Iruka, Uzumaki Naruto, Uchiha Sasuke, and Rock Lee.

Upon receiving the successful mission submission notification, Iruka received the coins and the bank card from Raze, then quickly blocked the other's view and took out his phone to make a call. "A-level mission, assemble in the hotel lobby!"

After hanging up, Iruka said, "Let's go, Mr. Raze. Let's head to the lobby first."

With Raze in tow, Iruka walked to the hotel's lounge area, where Naruto, Sasuke, and Rock Lee had already gathered.

Seeing Iruka's arrival, Naruto exclaimed with excitement, "Iruka-sensei, an A-level mission, that's fantastic!"

Iruka introduced, "This is our mission commissioner, Raze. These are Uzumaki Naruto, Uchiha Sasuke, and Rock Lee."

Seeing the burly man introduced by Iruka, Naruto exclaimed, "You're the werewolf from the subway station!"

Sasuke, on the other hand, glanced thoughtfully at Raze, not saying much. He remembered that Lord Charles had instructed them to investigate the werewolves and vampires thoroughly.

Rock Lee, on the other hand, greeted him warmly, "Hello, Mr. Raze."

Observing the three who seemed like mere children in stature, Raze didn't look down on them but instead showed great respect, saying, "I will leave the task to you."

The three looked to Iruka, inquiring about the mission.

"Raze will take us to the place that needs to be guarded, and I'll explain the mission details to everyone on the way," Iruka said.

Soon, the group got into Raze's car and headed toward the gathering place of the werewolves.

On the other side- 

Selene had already arrived at Michael's room, finding it empty. She began rummaging through the room's belongings, glancing at the photo of Michael.

"Ring ring! Ring ring!"

Suddenly, the telephone in the room rang, and Michael, who was about to enter to the room, heard the ringing.

The phone's voicemail feature automatically activated: "This is Michael. I'm not home right now. Please leave a message."

After the beep, a voice came through, "Michael, it's Adam."

"The police are looking for you at the hospital. They think you're involved in a shooting, but I told them it's impossible."

"But they're looking for you, right now."
