Why does the house feel so empty?

She got home and met Li Cheng arranging his clothes into a small travelling bag. She was confused, Li Cheng never told her that he was going on a trip.

She asked curiously "Are you going on a business trip?"

Li Cheng didn't notice Zhang Lihua when she entered the bedroom, it was only after he heard her voice that he knew she was standing beside him "Yes"

"But you didn't tell me about it this morning" Zhang Lihua replied disappointedly

Li Cheng replied softly "Am sorry, it came all of a sudden, I only received the call that I was going to be traveling this evening and you were at your friend's place."

She wondered why he was apologizing to her? It's just a business trip.

"It's fine, I will help you pack up the remaining clothes, you should rest, where are you traveling to?" Li Cheng sat down on the bed and allowed her to do the parking

Li Cheng replied plainly "South Korea"

"Oh" Zhang Lihua felt disappointed, she felt like traveling with him to South Korea.

Li Cheng wanted to say "you can come with me" but he wasn't sure if she was going to agree so he didn't say anything, he just watched her quietly as she arranged his clothes neatly into the bag. He just couldn't imagine how the remaining days will be without her

Soon morning approached and Li Cheng was ready to leave. Zhang Lihua helped him carry his bag downstairs.

When they got to the entrance of the house, Li Cheng stopped and turned towards her "take care of yourself and don't drink too much"

"I won't, take care of yourself too. How long will you be gone?"

"About 5 days"

Zhang Lihua voice contained a trace of sadness as replied with an "Oh"

5 days! That long? How was she going to survive without him? Zhang Lihua kill those thoughts, you can leave without him

Li Cheng took the bag from her hand, kissed her on her forehead and left immediately.

Zhang Lihua was startled. She stood at the same place she was when Li Cheng kissed her for 1 minute, then she raised her hand and touched her forehead.

Did Li Cheng really kiss her? Maybe Yuan Huan was right, maybe Li Cheng truly liked her. Many thoughts flooded her head. She shook her head slightly. She's not supposed to fall in love with him.

She looked around the sitting room and felt a weird emptiness in her heart.

Why does the house feel so empty? Even her heart had a weird feeling of emptiness. But Li Cheng just left, it can't be him right? Zhang Lihua couldn't understand herself anymore.

She took her bath, ate her breakfast and headed for Sapphire Entertainment.

She talked about some contracts with Manager Ling and Xu Chunhua. But the whole time, she kept thinking about Li Cheng.

What is happening to me? why can't I get him off my head?

Zhang Lihua returned home and met her mother and her mother in-law waiting for her inside the house.

She was surprised to see them, they didn't inform her about their visit.

She greeted them politely "Mother, Mother in-law"

Her mother was the first to speak up "Lihua how are you doing?"

"Mother am fine"

"You have added more weight, I can see my son is trying" Madam Li said happily
