Did anything happen?

When Li Cheng entered the house, he stared at Zhang Lihua and headed upstairs.

Zhang Lihua didn't say anything to him. She washed the dishes and placed his food on the dining table. She went upstairs and told Li Cheng that his food was ready. Li Cheng only replied with a "hmm".

That night she got a call from her mother, Madam Zhang.

"Hello Mom, how are you doing?"

"Xiao Lihua am fine, how's the honeymoon going, did anything happen?" Madam Zhang asked excitedly

"Mom nothing happened and the honeymoon is going well"

"What do you mean by nothing happened? Didn't Li Cheng touch you? "

"Mom! Enough of the questions, besides why did you call?"

"I just wanted to tell you that Zhang Corporations is doing well, your husband is really trying"

"Oh, that's good to hear, mom am going to hang up now, I have things to do" Before Madam Zhang could say something else, Zhang Lihua had already hanged up.

Madam Zhang had two daughters. Her first daughter, Zhang Hua was in the states and she was already married. She was a scientist. As for Zhang Lihua, she was a model and she wasn't ready to go into business. Her two daughters weren't interested in business, so when Zhang Corporations had problems, her husband, CEO Zhang could only convince Zhang Lihua to get married to Li Cheng because that was the only way that Zhang Corporations would return to how it used to be before. She knew her daughter didn't like Li Cheng and she really hoped that she will grow to love him.

Zhang Lihua sighed deeply. Her parents really wanted to have grand children but she didn't have plans of getting pregnant with Li Cheng's child.

Li Cheng continued coming back from work late and ate little. Zhang Lihua on the other hand didn't care about his lateness or how much food he ate. She continued preparing for her audition in Glamour Perfume.

She really wanted to be the spokesperson for Glamour Perfume.

Li Cheng and Zhang Lihua continued living like strangers but none of them expected that their fate will change soon.

It was a Monday morning, Zhang Lihua woke up early because she had to go to the company and discuss her preparations for the audition with Manager Ling and Xu Chunhua.

When she woke up, she didn't hear the sound of running water in the bathroom. That was something she was used to, Li Cheng always woke up before her. The house was quiet as usual. Madam Zhu was still staying with her son at the hospital.
