Arranged marriages don't have honeymoon

Li Cheng heard footsteps but he didn't bother to look at the direction the footsteps were coming from, he knew his wife was coming downstairs. But instead of her heading to the kitchen or the dining table, he saw her heading towards the door.

"Where are you going to? We are on our honeymoon and you aren't supposed to leave the house" Li Cheng said

Zhang stopped walking and turned towards his direction "Mr Li, am I supposed to remind you that this is an arranged marriage? Arranged marriages don't have honeymoon" She replied coldly and left the house before Li Cheng could stop her.

Li Cheng was speechless, he felt a slight pain in his heart.

Yeah, she's right, arranged marriages don't have honeymoon.

Li Cheng left the sitting room and headed towards his study. He kept himself busy so that he could forget the pain in his heart.

When Lihua arrived at her Yuan Huan place, there was no paparazzi or reporter around. Yuan Huan was so happy to see her

"So tell me how is marriage life like?" Yuan Huan asked happily

"I don't know" Zhang Lihua replied immediately

"What do you mean by you don't know? Aren't you married to Li Cheng?" Yuan Huan said as the smile in her face started to fade

"Am married to Li Cheng, but you should remember that it is an arranged marriage, once my family's business is stable, am going to divorce him" Zhang Lihua stated plainly

Yuan Huan was speechless. She knew that Zhang Lihua felt nothing for Li Cheng, but somewhere deep down her heart, she believed that Zhang Lihua was going to like him.

"You are on your honeymoon, you are supposed to be spending time with your husband and not me" Yuan Huan said this because she was trying to convince her to go home but Zhang Lihua was still adamant

"Staying in that house gives me headache and I didn't come here for you to advice me to go back to Li Cheng, I came here because I wanted you to keep me company, so change the topic"

Zhang Lihua replied in a tone that sounded as if she was irritated by what Yuan Huan was saying.

Yuan Huan was sensible enough. She knew Lihua was irritated so she changed the topic. They talked about different girly things, watched movies and even cooked together. When it was getting late, Yuan Huan finally managed to convince Lihua to go home.
