The Ark Of Akuma Against Raging Abyss Mortar

"Why not tell him? I'm sure he would understand..." reasoned Mavislin as Tomoe explained what had happened before he vanished.

"First of all... I highly doubt I can find him amidst this chaos. Second, I'd be lucky if I got out of the fight with him alive. Make no mistake; he may be a kid but is still the Pyromancers' last generation."

"According to him, that kid has the pure essence of Pyrovelia pumping as his core. If he loses control when I show up, I can't tell what would happen to the surrounding area."

"They were called hotheads for a reason," explained Tomoe, walking away from the confused and concerned Valkyrie.

Ever since then, Tomoe chose to forget about the buddy he once had and was overwhelmed with Missions given by Raiyen. Thus, when Wald came around, he had no clue who the person was or his history with him.

However, now isn't the time to go back and regret his choices. When Wald changed his grip on his axe, the demon fox shook his memories away while Wald tilted the cannon to fire at Tomoe's face.

"Reveal yourself, Akuma!" finished Tomoe as he channeled all his strength to the hand that held the fan and forced it downwards, creating a large gust of wind aimed at the cannon.

"Raging Abyss Mortar!" shouted Wald as the cannon launched a large beam of Void Flames towards the fan.

The three Elements clashed, causing a massive shockwave and purple, black and blue sparks to fly everywhere.

"The result of perfectly mixing the Fire and Void Element… I never thought I would see a young Mage be capable of that," noted Gillian as he watched the two Mages channel up their Elemental Energy.

Phanm was bored and had poured himself a cup of black tea while Gillian and Mavislin were still fixated on the battle. Baldwin had tucked Circe into a real bed when the two Mages below readied their final attacks.

"Oi, Baldwin… Did you know of any Dark Mages getting frisky with a Pyromancer?" asked the straight-faced Headmaster, eyes still fixed on the battle.

Phamn spat out the tea while Mavislin had a look of horror. Baldwin looked confused and amused before chuckling.

"I don't think it's my job to keep track of that, but I remember Void Mages being very rare since they were among the first few to die from the Great Noble War. Besides, Old Man Pond was scared of those Mages, so they were never led into the Congregation."

"Also, why are you asking me about this?! You should know since you have access to both the Arks' and Congregation's archives!" exclaimed Baldwin, raising his eyebrow at Gillian.

"I know, but I just can't remember much about the Void Mages other than they are a branch of the Dark Element Mages like you being a Necrosis Element Mage."

"The Void Mages are more than just their Element… They are the official gatekeepers of the Void. Only they permit who goes in and out of that place and can freely pass through that realm and come out with no ill effects," explained the Angry Man.

"But that only applies to pure Void Mages. A mixed one, like the kid below, may have different roles and, therefore, might not fully harness the Void Element. If Tomoe ain't careful, something harmful may come about from that unstable Mage below," added Gillian.

"Unstable?! What do you mean by that?" questioned Phamn, glaring at the Headmaster.

"Hey, I don't mean to insult your pal down there, but it's obvious that the kid has trouble finding peace and controlling his anger. You're a sniper, so look at how shaky the blast was compared to Tomoe's fans," elaborated the Headmaster.

He hated to say this, but the Headmaster was right; Wald was shaking in anger as he pulled everything out on that last move while Tomoe held down the clash with a single hand. The purple flame could barely stand his ground while Tomoe was having fun.

"When will you ever learn to cool that hothead of yours, Wald," asked the Kitsune as he shook his head.

The purple flame said nothing as he tried to control his feelings. Once he calmed down, Wald realized the power difference between him and his opponent. There was no way to bridge the gap; Tomoe hadn't yet unleashed his most potent spell against him.

"Even against one of my best spells, I still can't make a dent in the guy?!" murmured Wald as Tomoe's Elemental Aura soared through the roof.

Wald shook his head and focused everything to be on the defensive while pouring more power into the Citadel.

"Akuma's Flare; Gluttonous Rage," chanted out Tomoe as he tapped on the fan with his extended hand.
