Chapter 15: Stages Upon Stages

It has been a month since my training with Socrates started and I have improved however it isn't enough.

I trained my physical abilities and martial arts with Azreal and magic with Socrates. I have reached the 9th Class in a month; For others, it took decades or centuries.

Azreal has needed to use a little more of his power when sparring with me now which means I have become significantly stronger from when I came here.

I have also asked Socrates to train the assassin who tried to kill me and Socrates didn't refuse however he only taught her the basics.

"Levantes, you are ready now." Socrates said.

"Ready for what?" I asked.

"You are ready to learn about the Circles."

"Circles?"

Socrates explained what the Circles were and after a twenty-minute explanation, he had finally finished speaking.

"So that's what it is."

There is another set of levels after the classes and these are called Circles. Reaching the first circle is harder than reaching the twelfth class, three times over. There are eight circles, each one harder than the others. To reach the next circle is harder than reaching the previous circle, three times over. The stage after the twelfth class and the first circle is known as the Stationary Class.

Circle Three beings can destroy the whole web network of multiverses and there are five more circles above that. There are also stages. Circle One to Three is Stage One and Circle Four to Six are Stage Two. Circle Seven to Eight are the last stage, Stage Three. These stages each have a name that was named after the first beings to have ever reached these stages or by powerful beings who have reached those stages.

Stage One (Circle One, Two, and Three) is called the Helios Stage. This stage was named after the being, Helios. Stage Two (Circle Four, Five, and Six) is called the Thallassas Stage, named by the Queen of the Elves before the creation of my world, Amphitrite. Stage Three (Circle Seven to Eight) is called the Abyssal Stage named by the Demon Emperor, Adramelech.

There is a rumored Fourth Stage however no one has ever reached it so no one knows if it exists or not and if such a stage existed then their power would be unfathomable even to the most powerful beings.

"Who started the rumour of the Fourth Circle?" I asked Socrates.

"The name was never recorded so for now, no one knows."

There was a possibility that there was a Fourth Stage however as I have said before, it is unfathomable however, the Third Stage must've been "unfathomable" as well before someone reached it and if there was a Fourth Stage then the possibility of anyone reaching it in the next galactic year is close to zero.

"So, what circle are you then?" I asked Socrates. There wasn't an instant reply as Socrates hesitated to tell me.

I knew a percentage of his power however I didn't know what he was completely capable of.

"I have almost completed the First Stage."

A Circle Three being! He can destroy anything.

The cosmic structure of this world wasn't the same as my world. They didn't have things such as hyperverses or yottaverses, however, it was similar.

First are planets that are in a solar system. An infinite amount of planets and stars and a few black holes make up a galaxy. An infinite amount of galaxies create a universe. An infinite amount of universes make up a multiverse. An infinite number of multiverses does not create the next cosmic stage. The infinite amount of multiverses sits in the infinite beyond. This would be the end if you weren't in the Stationary Class or beyond it then the infinite beyond would be the last thing you could see.

Once you had passed the classes you unlocked the next cosmic stages, The Absolute Stages.

After the infinite beyond, you would find yourself in a world where nothing touches the ground. Everyone floats in that world and everything before the Absolute Stages can be seen. You could see every multiverse simultaneously.

If you looked at a two-dimensional image of two people with a wall separating them, you would be able to see all of them at once, the people and the wall as well as the thickness of the wall however if you were a two-dimensional being, you wouldn't be able to see beyond the wall. The place beyond the infinite beyond is just like this however you could see every multiverse including every timeline of every multiverse. This place is known as the Dimension World.

The Dimension World is infinite in size and possibilities meaning everything can happen in this world however it cannot cease to exist by anything that doesn't transcend it.

Only a few beings have transcended the Dimension World and all of them have said that there is a world beyond it. They called this world, the Abscence of Existence, more commonly known as the Nonexistence or the Endless Ocean.

It is called the Endless Ocean because all other realities reside in this infinite ocean. Worlds where characters who are fictional in my world or this world exist. The Endless Ocean is thought to be the end with nothing capable of transcending it as it transcends all that reside in it.

Perhaps my world and this world are linked. Maybe the reason why we have more cosmic stages is because of the gap in our levels. Such theories cannot be answered now however they will be.

Soon enough all of our questions will have their answers.
