Final Days

'I'm just like an owl ahahaha'

He didn't face any problems rotating his neck 270 degrees like the book said, and once he rotated it on either side, it happened.

Leus felt like his mind was submerged under water.

His consciousness faded for just a second, then it returned stronger than ever

'I unlocked it!'

Instantly, Leus no longer needed to focus on which bones to surround with Water Mana or whatever.

'I just have to think about what I want to do, and that's it'

His mind, once again, evolved, and it subconsciously took care of the process

'Abstracts are so good'

Leus dived under the water and activated Advanced Mana Vision, then began searching for his pouch

'Here it is'

It was beside the Mana Crystal where he kept it.

He picked it then went back up and took out the Suction Cube.

He pushed Mana to his index and put it on the Cube which immediately sucked all of it and started to faintly glow.

Leus used the Abstract of Levitation

'I don't wanna fall after it sucks all the water'

Then submerged the Cube under water.

WHOOF

In less than two seconds, all the water disappeared and Leus was hovering in the middle of the air

'Magic is wonderful isn't it'

Leus went down and deactivated the Barrier while yawning

'I need to sleep'

He quickly picked up the Mana Crystal, the Cube, and the pouch, and put everything on the desk.

Then he went to the bathroom and dried his body with a towel.

'I'll miss that Water...'

But he didn't dwell much on that thought and just went to bed and slept.

About 14 hours later, Leus got up.

He freshened up and then put some clothes on

'I'm hungry ...'

He decided to go and tell Arno about it

'I think I have some money somewhere, I can probably go and buy something'

Leus walked out of the room

'It's around noon, many people are here'

Nevertheless, Leus didn't really care and just walked to Arno's desk.

Arno already noticed that Leus was approaching him, so he dropped down the book he was reading and waited for him.

"Master"

"Leus, how did it go?"

"It was terrible, but I managed, I unlocked it"

Arno became impressed when he heard that

"Well done"

"But I'm hungry, I'll go and buy some food"

"Are you ready to start the last Abstract?"

Leus nodded

"I am, I just want to eat first"

"If it's about food then I'll take care of it, did you read the book?"

"No, not yet"

"Then go and read it, by the time you're done food will be ready"

"Thanks, Master"

Leus went back to his room and sat on the desk.

He carefully picked up the red book and read what was written on the cover

'Ignition? Ignatius is certainly creative huh'

Leus opened the book and began reading

Leus chuckled and flipped the page

This Abstract serves both offense and defense well. It not only accelerates the speed of an already moving user but can also provide instant momentum for someone at rest.

To break it down,

When compared to wind-based spells like Boost, which can enhance the speed and jump height of an already moving user, the Ignition Abstract stands out as it can grant immediate momentum to someone who is still.

This momentum can be applied in various ways,

As a speed boost for launching a melee attack.

As a swift evasion maneuver to avoid an incoming attack.

As a force to counteract your own momentum (For instance, if you're falling, you can use the Abstract to decrease the speed of your descent))

'Hmm, If the speed boost it grants is both fast and instantaneous then it can be really useful to me'

Leus flipped the page

(Unlocking the Abstract is a straightforward process. Simply condense Fire Mana on your palm or beneath your feet, then ignite it, triggering an explosion.

After you gain control over the size of the explosion and the direction it propels you, the Abstract will be unlocked.)

Leus smiled and closed the book

'Thanks Ancestor'

Then he looked at the Fire Mana Crystal

'The last Abstract ...'

While Leus was looking at the Crystal, the door opened and Arno entered

"Hey Leus, are you done?"

Leus nodded and got up to place the book back on the shelf.

Arno came and took out a pouch, then took out two big covered plates from it and placed them on the desk.

Normally, Arno would have never bothered to do such a thing, however, as it was one of the last times he'd talk to Leus as his apprentice, and because he wanted to see if Leus had anything to ask, he brought the food himself.

"Thanks, Master"

"Not a problem, Have you got any questions?"

"Yes. First, that Water Mana, was it your Mana? The water was so clear"

"Yes"

"Can I get some?"

"Some what? Mana?"

Leus chuckled

"No, just water. Water bottles from your spell, I want to try it."

"Sure, I'll give you a pouch with some bottles in it later, anything else?"

"Yeah ... the Fire Mana, what will it be inside The Barrier? I'm not going to burn, right?"

Arno chuckled

"No, it isn't pure Fire Mana. It has Wind Mana and a little Water Mana mixed with it, so it will be like hot wind and smoke inside.

Breathing will be a little hard and maybe you'll get some burns on your skin, but that's it."

Leus sighed in relief

"Thanks, Master"

Arno waved his hand and then said

"Leus, it took you about 18 days to unlock the Abstract of Fluidity.

After 10 days or so, I will start making moves with Ignatius.

Once I start, there's no going back, are you okay with that?"

Leus replied instantly

"Yes, Master, I am"

Arno smiled

"Good luck Leus"

Leus nodded without saying anything, and Arno left the room.

Leus removed the covers from the plates

'Oh .. that's amazing'

There was a roasted chicken on one plate and salad on the other plate, the food smelled really good

'I should've eaten here all along'

Leus ate the entire chicken then ate the salad as well

'I was hungry, also, it'd be a real shame if this tasty food went to waste'

After he was done eating, he washed his hands then picked up the Fire Mana Crystal.

Leus looked around him

'These are my final days here huh ...'

He smiled bitterly, then activated the Barrier.

He walked to the edge of the barrier and began condensing Mana on his palm and under his feet like the book said

'It's going to take a bit'

While Leus was busy doing that, many events were taking place outside.
