Uncle Magnus (1)

Seyric sat on the couch while Euris and Magnus looked at him closely. Magnus sighed as he took out a quail and wrote from his notebook.

"Do you think it's necessary, Magnus?" Euris placed a hand on his forehead. "I worry that something bad might happen to him..."

Seyric tilted his head at both of them.

Magnus assured himself as he continued to scribble on the paper and put them away.

"The nobles had begun to question his situation... We need some clarification, aside from that it would help Seyric a ton if Keisha had some insight into his situation." Magnus explained as Euris sighed and glanced to Seyric's way.

"Now, we should start."

As Magnus scanned Seyric's eyes and squinted over Magnus's face, his feet remained motionless as he squinted over Magnus's face.

On the other hand, Magnus scanned every nerve in Seyric's body. He noticed his nerves were a bit more cramped than a normal nerve would look. Like a string cut off at a slight touch.

Magnus furrowed his brows as he scanned around the flow of the mana nerves. Despite the thin nerve's mana, he has managed to distribute it evenly throughout his core.

"Brother, try sharing your mana with Seyric."

When Euris released his aura and transferred it to Seyric, Magnus extended his hands in front of him. "No, don't release too much, just the bare minimum..."

With that said the aura vanished as Euris held Seyric's hand and started to share bits of his mana with his son.

As the mana continued to flow in Seyric's body a mana disruption began as the passage began to cramp slowly. A blockage started to form which Magnus immediately pierced with his 'God Light Nerve Penetration' as the flow circulated again.

But after as many time has passed more blockage began to occur as cold sweat came over Seyric's body. A strong and heavy sensation clung into him as his nerves violently ache from each second.

Magnus finally noticed the blockage started to make his nerves bump, grew in size at the very moment it could explode and cause mana leakage in his body.

"Divine God Light Nerve Penetration!!!" He chanted.

Which halted Euris in his tracks as he pulled his hands away and his lips tightened as he glanced over to Magnus' side of the room. His heart pounded at a fast pace, each time passed.

On the other hand, multiple golden lights formed between Seyric's nerves and suddenly pierced every blockage of mana in his nerves.

The nerves of Seyric trembled as he winced from the pain of his muscles as he sweat profusely while his skin remained pale and cold.

Magnus' eyes squinted as it covered in a golden mist that glistened from his pupils, another set of golden light released from his mana until finally it started to calm down.

Magnus let out an exhausted sigh as he blinked his eyes as the mist vanished and he faced Euris, whose eyes were in deep thoughts as he watched every movement Magnus made with his son.

"Sadly, Seyric's case is far more severe. His mana core drained after the incident occurred, so his body cannot absorb mana restoration. I could say his body will have to take them naturally.

"Aside from that too much mana will cause blockage and risk—"

"Leakage... and his body would be at risk and cause an explosion." Euris sat on the couch as he glanced to Seyric.

While Seyric listened closely to both adults talk about his situation, he glanced over his hands, which had been placed over his face.

Magnus stood in front of Seyric with his eyes fluttered as he emitted muffled sounds that rang out in Seyric's ears and looked down at Euris with a gloomy expression on his face.

"Anyway, that's what I think is what I'll be able to disclose for now, Brother. Maybe in the future... Seyric can improve his state..." Magnus explained.

Euris nodded his head and sighed heavily. "Okay, thanks."

With that, Magnus left as the day came to an end.

***

As Seyric stood in the middle of an open field, the sun touched his skin. Behind him was a man dressed in the finest clothing. Seyric's back was watched as his hands were placed behind him.

"I want to know how many spells you can cast." Clune said as he marched towards Seyric's side.

"Let's start." He ordered as Seyric gazed over him.

Seyric began to cast a fire that hovered over his hands, in a normal size this time as he put his hands away. He cast for the second time in the same manner. It was an easy task and a quick pace.

But for the 5th try his fire began to appear a bit smaller than normal as he started to sweat as he casted for the 7th try, it shrank into small sizes and his face began to pale and on the 8th try he gasped as his feet limped as he tried to balance himself.

Clune nodded, "Okay, you may stop."

Whenever Seyric fell on the group, his eyes stared at the clear blue sky as he panted heavily.

Clune walked up to him as he extended his hands over Seyric's body as he took a few minutes to stand up, "I could see that your body is estimated to be capable of casting less than 10 normal spells... Your mana use depends on what spell you are going to use.

"Specifically, matter manipulation would have a different range of effects, since it uses over a huge amount of mana each spell would drain over 3 normal spells for you."

Clune said as he hummed under his breath and surveyed the surroundings, "I guess this will be a long ride of trial. You must work hard and pay attention."

Seyric finally sat up from the ground as he glanced over Clune's face, which gave him a warm smile.

"As a temporary measure, rest for 3 days. We'll start by after it passes, and I will start and provide you a private lessons for maximizing your strength."
