The Apocolypse

“Crash!” lighting strikes, it has been thundering like this for many moons now, the clouds not stopping to rest. An endless downpour of sorrow and unhappiness rained from the sky just as it did when this storm first found itself in the little town called Eastville.

Beach day! (in progress as of 7:30 pm BST)

"Eve come ooon!" whined Abbey "do you want to get to the beach or not! If we don't go now there won't be a spot left on the sand, you know its peak season the tourists will be flooding the place!"

"OK! OK!! Jeez let a person do their hair, you know being this cute takes effort." Evan sighed while sassily flipping their hair

"yeah right..." replied Abbey "you just wanna look cute for Andrew." snickered Abbey whilst staring at Eve with an evil grin on her face >:)

"What?!" blushed Eve "No!" while at the same time burying their face into their sleeve out of embarrassment

After the two friends made their way to the beach they found their friend, Cecelia. She was the most beautiful girl in town flowing brunette hair and luxurious, sapphire blue eyes that glimmered and shined like diamonds in the sunlight. Eve unironically was a bit jealous of her looks and overall personality as they often came across cold and antisocial even though they were a social person once they got to know someone. Cecelia on the other hand was naturally gifted in looks and communication leaving the boys drooling. When they eventually arrived at the beach after Cecelia loaded them with all the school gossip that had happened that week, they found a nice open spot on the sand to relax and sunbathe.

Suddenly Evan Had a gut feeling they should go inside to shelter, they didn't know why or what for, but their subconscious just knew something bad was going to happen and it was going to happen soon. Reluctantly Evan went with their gut and told their friends they were just going to the bathroom. This was when it started. The storm. "BOOM!" "CRASH!" the thunder roared, and the lightning struck Evan looked out of a nearby window in horror, they dozens of floating bodies in the water as far as the eye could see. The lightning had scorched them instantly, Evan at the time had 3 options Run, Hide or look for their friends though that is if they were still alive. Being the selfless person, they were Evan decided to hurriedly run out of the bathroom and bumped into something. It was Abbey! She was alive.

"I thought you were dead!" cried Evan

"Me too!" wept Abbey while pulling Evan into a warm much needed embrace, they both needed comforting right now after seeing hundreds of people die right in front of their eyes.

"Ok for once we need to agree upon something and that is getting of this god forsaken island right now." Pleaded Evan whilst almost getting knocked over by oncoming tree branches as the wind picked up.
