John and Josh were a bit taken back by Miranda's sudden plea. She was pretty much begging for them to help her, and honestly, they felt like it would be wrong not to. So, they decided to just help her in the end. "Alright, then sit down," Josh said while sitting on one of the beds. John sat beside Josh, and Miranda looked towards the two of them with gratitude.

At first, she didn't think they would listen to her plea. She knew that she wasn't all that well acquainted with Jake and knew that they had only known each other for a couple of days at best. Still, she wanted to get to know her King more. Which was why she was adamant about getting the two closest to Jake to tell her more about him.
