Serin slowly took her hands near the mirror to touch it but someone knocked on the door, making Serin turn back. Before she could ask the person who is it, she was pulled inside the mirror.
It was dark, she was being pulled fast inside the mirror. She was floating in the air as if there was no gravity. She felt like she was metal and was being attracted towards the magnet. There was no light, only darkness was filled in there.
It was so dark that even her hands were not visible to her eyes, and neither any end for that place. But thank goodness, after almost five minutes of dragging, she finally saw a purple dot which looked like a light. She was relieved to see it. She was relieved that soon she will reach the end and get out of that darkest place.
But the closer she got to it, the more distance between them increased. She tried to swim in the air so that she could reach that end, but it didn't work. She sighed and fold her hands, thinking it's just a dream, she closed her eyes. She didn't realize when she slept, and when she was thrown out of that purple hole which looked to her like a dot from distance.
The sun was on the top, it was afternoon. After a few hours, she slowly opened her eyes adjusting to the light. She rubbed her eyes and moved her gaze around everything besides her. There was a clear blue sky up, top of large trees were visible touching the sky, small grasses were under her slim body, and a white wolf sitting beside her. She was lying on the ground, and was in a forest, middle of a forest.
Thinking that she just now saw a wolf, her eyes opened wide and she sat on her place. She shook her head and once more took a glance over everything around her. Her gaze stopped on baby monkey when she saw her smiling. The baby monkey was eating a banana and offered the other bunch to Serin.
"No, thank you. I- I've to go", Serin said before standing up.
" How come I'm in a forest? Did I really see a large white wolf beside me? ", she mumbled.
The baby monkey climbs up on Serin and sat on her shoulder, making her startle. She shook her body in fear and threw away the baby monkey far enough from her. The baby monkey felt on the ground and began crying, calling out her family to save her from a bad human who pushed her away.
A group of 4 to 5 monkeys showed up from different trees around her and jumped on the ground. They walked towards Serin, showing her their big danger teeth and growling. Serin was terrified at this moment because a few moments ago she was in her bedroom and now she's standing alone in front of angry monkeys who are about to attack her.
Serin shouted for help. She called out her families name. "Grandma! mom! dad? Is this any joke? Have you planned to mock me? Grandma is this our new place to explore today?". But no, there wasn't any response to her questions. She thought she might be in a deep dream, so she pinched herself, but nothing helped.
Monkeys kept stepping forward and forward towards her, but trembled Serin began to run away from them into the deep dark forest. She kept on running and running. Running to find the end of that forest, to find for help, to run far away from monkeys. The more she ran, the more she went into the depths of the forest.
She stopped at a place and began panting holding her knees. She looked back, the monkeys were not chasing her anymore. The stopped in the middle and went back when Serin entered the deepest forest.
The sound of the forest was scary and terrifying. The dark forest was danger and scary at the same time. There were lots of trees which were huge and tall, touching the sky that made the forest look darker and scarier.
She realised that she was lost. Lost in a huge forest all alone. No one with her. She was alone there and the cold-hearted Serin began sobbing for the first time in fear. Slowly they got harder and harder. She also began screaming, but in that huge and dark forest, no one heard her.
She decided to walk further and find a place to rest before the sunset. After a few hours of walking, she became tired of walking and wished to give up. The ground was so muddy and made her more tired as she trudged along. She wished she had a time machine to go back to the time before she found that mirror. Of course, it was all because of that mirror. If she had not found it, she would not have been standing in the forest now. She had never felt this terrible in my life.
"Wait a minute. Jesus, what's wrong with my clothes?", I asked herself.
She realized that her clothes were changed. She was not wearing her pyjamas anymore. She was in a long sky blue dress.
"Why am I in this dress? Am I truly here or dreaming?"
She again pinched her hands and slapped her face quickly. But no, she was not dreaming. She was actually standing in that scary dark forest.
"No no no, it can't be a reality. Serin wake up, Serin it's just a dream, Serin please wake up... "
She continued crying and slapping her cheeks. But nothing helped and she was still standing in the same place. For a minute she thought she is in someone else body, but was little relieved by the fact that her hairs, body and her face structure were same, they were not changed. But she was confused with the thought about how her clothes changed.
Confusion aroused more and more. She does not even have any idea about how to get out of the forest. Tears again started shredding through her eyes. Don't know about any other thing, but she became a crybaby for sure in that place.
It was felling night, making Serin more and more tremble and frightened. She began feeling thirsty and hungry. Insects were flying everywhere. A snake too frightened her and made her run away more deep in the forest. She was terrified and craved to see the end of this nightmare.
Soon she found a small cave where she thought she could at least rest for this night. It was not safe but she has no other option. She didn't think for any second option and went in.
She stood at the entrance of the cave. The cave which looked small to her from away was not that small. It was bigger than her expectations. It's too deep and dark inside.
"God knows how will I survive when it will get darker here in the night", she said.
The cave was more darkest inside. She decided not to go more into it and planned to sleep there until the night pass. She sat down on a rock at the entrance and hugged her knees, burying her face into it.
"Don't you think it's too late here? We should go back and come here in the morning", A female voice spoke.
"No, I'm hungry. I want that Or else I will not go back home. I promise we will just hunt one animal and go back. I promise", A male voice spoke.
Serin put her head up in confusion and turned her face to direction from where she heard voices. They were coming from inside the cave where it was darkest. Her heart jumped in happiness, thinking she will be safe now and go back home. She stood up on her place, furrowing her eyebrows and trying to find out the figures in the dark.
"Do humans live here?", she asked herself and took little steps towards them, thinking that they might help her to get out from here. But little she doesn't know they were not humans, they were werewolves. Wolves who can talk like human because they're werewolves.
"Stop! I can smell a human here", a male wolf spoke.
"What? Have you gone mad? How can a human come here?", a female wolf spoke.
"Wait I can smell that too.... It means?", she added, making Serin stop on her face with wide eyes.
"Yes, it means-"
They stopped and their eyes widened too. They both were standing right in front of Serin and she didn't have any word to speak. Yes, They weren't humans which she thought earlier. They were wolves. "Wolves who can speak?", she thought.
They both are from Artemis, and of course, the place where Serin was standing in the territory of Artemis too. Serin took a step back, her body shaking from head to toe.
But the wolves were not bad. They both are good ones who are married to each other. They were beautiful with blue and green eyes with brown fur on their body. But at the same time, they were scary for Serin because they were not humans, they were wolves.
"She's more beautiful than I expected", the female wolf spoke.
"But how she got here? Miss can you say us something about you?", the male wolf spoke while taking small steps towards Serin.
His each steps forward forced Serin to take each step backwards. They both were calm and good to speak but then too Serin was frightened. The only thought was roaming in her mind was 'they are wolves and they can't speak and they can't even be calm'.
Her fear gave her dizziness and she felt down on the ground, making both the couples worry about her. The went near her and asked her to wake up. But she did not move an inch, neither opened her eyes.
" What to do now?", male wolf asked.
"Let's take her to our home", female wolf suggested.
"But our pack, they might get afraid of her"
"No, we won't reveal her identity to anyone. We will hide that she is a human and send her back to her home"
They both changed themselves into their human form and the male one picked up Serin in her arms. They understood that Serin is not any harm to them, because if she was, she would have attacked them in the first glance.
They both walked inside the cave, where the darkness was ruling. Deep in the cave, there was a door. The door of their home. Female one opened it and they both stepped inside their house.
They went home with empty hands, there was no meat going to be cooked in their home tonight. Just for Serin, they skipped their hunting too. And for her safety, they even decided to hide her in their place.
