At this point,Blake didn't even understand the situation he was in.

One minute he had a little hope of winning,another minute his chances had reduced again. Now he was going to die here for sure.

Blake thought.

'No! I can't die?!'

'I must live'

'Anything'

'Anything at all..I must live!'

'I must survive!'

Stretching forth his hands,Blake wasn't even sure of what he was doing in the first place. But it felt like the right thing to do in this situation.

The wolves stared blankly at Blake wondering if he had gone mad from fear afterall he was in the presence of two 'powerful' beasts.

It was then....

RUMBLE!!

What? has this weak puny human been able to do something? the beasts thought. As even Blake was jolted by the sudden sound.

"ROAR!!!!"

A loud roar that shook the entire surrounding was heard. From the roar alone,Blake eardrums directly exploded.

Powering through the ringing sound from his head,Blake looked ahead. Using his superior eyesight,he could see dust and debris falling all over the place and from a large hole a large beast appeared.

Merely looking at the beast,he knew he was in a tight pickle,even the wolves now looked scared and were shaking. Although the wolves couldn't see it,Blake could...and that was the reason he was more scared than all the beasts here.

With speed beyond what Blake could see. The beasts began tunnelling its way towards Blake and the wolves.

'Shit!'

Packing his injured body,and relying on the adrenaline rush he was receiving,Blake began hopping.

Even though he knew it was pointless, but at this point,he would do anything to prolong his death.

If he was going to die here,he was taking the wolves with him!

Blake instantly disappeared.. startling the wolves behind him.

As Blake streaked across the plain,he was back to his peak form. Although he was still incredibly low on energy. But he would cross that bridge when he got there.

Right now,he was more concerned with escaping as far as he could from his previous location.

"ROAR!!"

Once more,the roar of the Sandworm was heard..as if reminding the wolves,that their lives had an impending doom hovering over their heads.

A figure could be seen rolling and slamming the ground at regular intervals. Until finally coming to a stop.

There appeared to be movement from the figures body, a few seconds later.

*cough* *cough*

Pulling himself up,Blake once again had received cuts and bruises after slamming the floor from his sudden momentum after using the skill 'Blitz'.

He was incredibly low on energy. And this feeling was like being thirsty. You know, that kind of thirst that only water can quench. And it was irritating him to no end.

Looking ahead,Blake spotted a small cave.

"I need to go into hiding for the time being then I can think of a way to replenish my Energy. After all,I only moved about a hundred and fifty metres from my position. That beast can always find me anytime'. Blake thought.

Staggering up to the mouth of the cave ,Blake used his perception to check for any dangers in there. Seeing none,he propped himself and lay on a small rock nearby.

Starting to settle his mind,Blake began thinking of a way to replenish his energy. He still had about an hour more before his punishment would end. And he was sure that,the beast would find him way sooner than that.

Cooling his head,Blake sat down in a cross legged position and closed his eyes.

Desperation was pushing his mind to the limit as he was thinking of how and what he could even do to speed up his energy regeneration.

Spreading his perception,Blake simply sat there and tried waiting. Trying to while away the time in hopes of something magical happening.

However,seeing the snail paced increase in his regeneration,Blake almost cried.

It was impossible!

Closing his eyes once more,Blake started to think. The energy that was regenerating..it had to come from somewhere right?

Focusing more on his surroundings,Blake could see various energy. One golden and halo,and another dark and misty.

He decided to observe as he completely focused on the tasks. He could see the energy entering his body at a slow pace. It seemed the energy at the cave had a higher density of demonic energy than Holy energy.

'Ahhh' so that's the problem'.

'I just have to absorb energy faster with my own effort'

Blake thought as he began connecting with the angelic energy within the cave and drawing it to his body'.

As usual,the system hit him with a notification.

'wha..what? it is still low. How much was my regeneration before?!' Blake exclaimed. Completely ignoring the fact that he was now an F-Rank and his strength was far higher than before, all Blake could see was his energy regeneration. Ignoring his new stats.

Burying his thoughts,Blake focused solely on increasing his energy with the little time he had.

An unknown amount of time had passed as Blake sat absorbing as much energy as he could before the Sandworm found him.

As expected,the familiar roar of the Sandworm was heard.

Rapidly opening his eyes Blake looked at the system notification that was in front of his eyes.

'This is not enough..how do I even survive now...except...I use blitz. But that would only be four times before I once again run out of energy for any other skill'.

Complaining once more,Blake didn't even keep it in mind that about fifty nine minutes had passed since he entered the cave. Meaning he had just around a minute left. Meaning he would soon be out of here.

While Blake was still in the middle of his thoughts of how he was going to survive, the onslaught of the Sandworm. He had heard it's roar. It was likey around fifty metres away from his current location.

But Blake thoughts were cut short as his perception had picked up something. Although it was for an instant, Blake eyes widened as he immediately prepared to use Blitz. However,he was too late.

*BOOM*

The walls of the cave directly crumbled as a large beast made it's way to Blake's location. Blake now saw in full view the body of the Sandworm.

With large eyes and a huge body that could at least squash him to death without much effort,

Blake felt he was staring death right in the face.

'At least with my energy I can do something'. Blake thought.

Looking up,Blake could see the Sandworm opening it's mouth once more. Knowing the power of its roar,Blake immediately activated Blitz.

Blake moved using his agility along with his skill to the maximum. Punching out, although he was a two full ranks below,and should not have even be able to stand the aura of the beast, Blake thought that his punch should at least do some damage.

However,the opposite was the case. As Blake body was forcefully tossed to the side shattering some parts of the cave. He wanted to do anything to survive. But he ended up just making the beast very... very angry.

The beast lunged forward at Blake who was still on the floor.

But he saw a notification that made him smile.

[Countdown to Punishment Conclusion:3 seconds]

Right as the maws of the worm was about to descend on Blake's body and snap him in half, a white light appeared and a familiar spatial crack appeared once more swallowing Blake whole.

*ROAR!!!"*

The worm roared as his defenseless prey seemingly vanished in front of his eyes. It was beyond angry and needed to take it's anger on something. Thus,the full destruction of the cave happened just a few minutes after Blake had disappeared.

Back in a familiar mansion,Blake appeared on his bed with blood stains and a body full of sand and dust.
