Blake stared at the time countdown is shock as he just saw the time trickle down. He stared blankly as his mind floated.
From others perspective, it was like he was staring, infact listening intensely to Andrew blabbing away. However, Blake face again paled even more as he looked at the next system notification and the screen that appeared in front of his eyes.

Andrew waved his hands in front of Blake's eyes as he moved it up and down trying to get Blake's attention.
Blinking a few times, Blake looked like he was forcefully pulled from a beautiful dream.
"Huh? wh..what.. did you say?"
Blake stuttered as he stared at Andrew blankly.
"I said I... I've found them"
They are at the array already.
With a nod of his head Blake began following Andrew to the array.
But in his mind, he was confused.
"Wasn't I just at the array seconds ago? how didn't I see them".
He wondered.
Walking upfront, Blake saw two girls that looked exactly like each other. However,his face showed acknowledgement as he remembered their names. Or rather, they name they made for themselves in the THE AWAKENED ACADEMY.
The two girls spared him nothing short of a glance before looking away. As if not even acknowledging his presence at all....like he was some FLY!.
'This damn fools!' Blake shouted in this mind.
He was very sure in his heart that they were insulting him. Cursing his very existence.
Suddenly, space shook as he and the others, were forcefully teleported to the Desolate Ground.
What greeted them however, was the thick black clouds and the blood filled atmosphere. Somehow, everyone could still see. Which meant that it wasn't even night time but the cloud were still dark.
*Flash*
Like a bolt of lightning, the twins moved deeper into the forest
Leaving Blake and Andrew alone. With an awkward scratch of his head, Andrew too joined the twins. Afterall, he was also a Mid F-Rank himself.
*sigh*
Blake could not believe it. He had been abandoned. Initially,he thought that even with his curse, it would be a sort of blessing in disguise. As his time won't need to waste time looking for the beasts to kill.
They would come to him themselves!
Or so he thought.
Now, he was alone, with a curse, and no one to help him.
How sad?
He may truly die.

"No no no, this won't do...they do not know cooperation. This is very bad. We have to teach them before it's too late".
"Should we help him? like remove him from them.. you all know we can't let him die right?"
"No! wait. Lets wait and see, he is the son of that man. Although useless, he must at least be as tentative as his dad right?"
"I mean... If you put it like that..."
"I agree let's just wait and see....and besides something tells me there's something more to this boy that meets the eye"
Everyone nodded as they knew coming from this person, this little excursion would be a little more interesting than they thought it was going to be.

Back at the Desolate ground, Blake was advancing slowly trying to avoid detection from the terrible threesome. He had seen their groups and there was only one word to describe them.
Powerful.
Each and everyone one of them, had reached the Peak of F- Rank and some groups contained beings at the E-Rank level.
Looking ahead, was a densely crowed forest. No doubt, people already flooded this place already and may be even engaging in battle at the moment.
The only people he could see were people at the same rank as him. That's right Low F-Rank. It was like the higher ranked, decided to collectively ignore all the people weaker than them.
It seemed it was more of a competition between the Higher ranked, rather than for the whole school.
*Ugh*
Finally, making it to the Forest, Blake was already feeling anxious. What was this madness. Every high ranked being has already left and were inside the forest already.
'Fuck!!!!!!'
'At least this day could not get any worse right?'
'I am so tired. I can probably rest for a little while right?'.
As Blake slopped down to rest, he heard the rustling of leaves, few metres away from. him. Initially, he ignored it but this was the second time already.
Quickly getting up, Blake prepared for the worst as he already knew what was in that bush. Coupled with the series of notifications that sounded.

Like a shy creature, an animal, the size of a dog walked out.

Was Blake's first reaction, until it's fur suddenly erupted in flames.

The beast suddenly roared in pain as it saw its own fireball collide with its face in the span of a second.
With blood spraying everywhere, as the beast staggered trying to regain its footing. However, Blake wasn't going to allow that to happen.

A swift punch met the Beast's face causing more blood to flow out. At this point, the skull was clearly visible. And Blake was widely grinning.
'Yes! Yes! I'm not powerless anymore...I...I am not weak...I can do this!'
Punch after punch met the Beast's face as it's weakened hide around its face, became it's weak spot. Despite having a certain resistance to fire based attacks, the abruptness its own attack flew back, was so fast, it didn't even have time to dodge.
And with this last thought the beast closed it's eyes, finally going into eternal slumber.
'Curse this damn human'.

And Blake, suddenly realised.
No 'survival' quest was triggered.
Simply put, the system analysed Blake's ability and found him strong enough to defeat a Mid-F Rank although it was still at thr initial Mid-Stage due to Blake's curse Effect.

Blake said, as his smile returned seeing rewards popping up after his first ever kill.
